| A quarter of a century later
Twenty-five years ago, I was a big fan of fusion accoustic guitar and the three artists represented here. Perhaps I'm jaded, but today I prefer my Flamenco or Spanish guitar undiluted by jazz improv, and these songs all seem to jumble together in a self-congratulatory display of virtuosity. Too raucous as background music but too dated to listen to, this volume will mostly sit on the shelf.

| Get Ready To Say "Holy Crap!"
Al DiMeola - one of the most talented jazz guitarists ever, had enough pull with me to make me say, "Sure, I'll check this one out." Adding John McLaughlin and Paco DeLucia makes one heck of a good time. I can't listen to it for too long, though - my brain starts to hurt from all the 32nd note runs.

| A great wine and jazz CD ...
I'm not a big fan of jazz guitar, but this one does it for me ! Highly recommended with a glass of Shiraz ... The recording a touch "early era digital" ... I would have preferred a more analog sound, but the music makes up fo it.
