Fastway album for sale Product Description
Fastway album for sale by Fastway was released Jul 24, 2012 on the Rock Candy label. Bluesy hard rock and boogie was still around in the early 1980s, even as hair metal started grabbing all the attention. One such British band, Fastway, was led by two veterans: Motorhead guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke and Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley. They recruited unknown singer and harmonica player David King and released their successful self-titled debut in 1983. Fastway had no full-time bassist at this point, and whoever played on the album isn't credited. ...See Full Description

Pretty cool! This is a pretty cool blues-metal album. Kind of similar to the hardest Zeppelin stuff, but very stripped-down and no-frills. The vocals are high and kind of whiny, the guitars buzz, the bass bumps along, the drums clang along like real drums should. Just a fun listen all the way around. Used to be, you could get this and the follow-up All Fired Up (which isn't quite as good, but has some great songs) on the same disc, but I haven't seen that one lately. I'd hold out for that one, but the debut is the better of the two albums, and for eight bucks, you can't go wrong. By Fizz (Delmarva) This review is for a different format.
Good but.. The product detail says this was re-released Feb 01, 2008. I don't quite think so. It's more like from the late 90s. If it wwas remastered, the output sound level would be higher. But all the same, good stuff. By Mark (Minnesota, USA) This review is for a different format.

Awesome 80's Band From the hit "Easy Livin'" to "We Become One" to "Heft" to "Say What You Will" all of those songs just flat out smoke like burning rubber on asphalt. Then you have the really awesome Led Zepplin sounding "So Far From Home" bonus track that originally came as a free 7" record in with the original album. I also like their second CD but you can't buy it alone and I already have this one so... By Ken Murphy (Cleveland, Ohio) This review is for a different format.

Deep Purple Deep Purple in Rock CD (1970) Top Seller
Fastway songs British import edition, this includes nine bonus tracks, including remixes, unreleased instrumentals, and in-studio chatter.
With IN ROCK, Deep Purple added vocalist Ian Gillan into the line-up, a decision that irrevocably changed their fortunes. IN ROCK is one of the genre's definitive albums, combining hard-edged riffs with virtuoso technique, topped by Gillan's full-throated roar. Few singers could survive the instrumental power beneath him, but this he does with room to spare, reacting to and emphasizing his colleagues' musical prowess. Chock-full of material destined to become Deep Purple anthems, later releases were evaluated against this trail-blazing, heavy rock collection.
Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1970 Hard Rock classic, released to coincide with the album's 25th Anniversary. Features the original eight cuts plus 12 bonus tracks. The bonus tracks include studio outtakes, Roger Glover remixes and studio chat by the band! Contains 'Speed King', 'Child In Time' and 'Black Night'. 20 tracks. EMI. 1995.
