| ZZ comes back with a bang t though no surprises here,ZZ comes through with a strong effort that should please true fans. One of those cds that keeps growing on you. song 2 is my fave but all the songs are catchy and strong with that subtle humor intact!!!! | About Time!! ZZ still has it! Harkens back to their early albums.... I've been looking for some more ZZ music to get my boogie groove back, and this album fills the bill to overflowing! Still the best after all these years, Gibbons and co. know how to get down and get it on!! Best beer drinking, pool hall boogie music there is!... .... | in your face ZZ After hearing what I did before the release, I really thought this album would take me back to Tres Hombres. However, it is mostly a continuation of their same musical direction, which is fine by me. I like the big full in your face production and the dirty/gritty feel. I think the best 2 songs are the 2 extra cuts, but those are only on certain versions of the album. Those 2 songs rock like a ZZ Top on fire... fantastic stuff! I wonder why they didn't include those on the regular release? Anyway, it's good to hear some new ZZ Top... maybe not a 5 rating, but a solid 4. | not bad....but Just checked this disc out. It sounds exactly what you'd expect a 2012 ZZ Top to sound like, except one sad reality. The vocals are shot. They can still jam, but when considering further releases, I HIGHLY suggest one of these two options: 1) the new and improved band become an instrumental band or 2) make an addition of someone with some vocal ability.
