| MAIDEN = GREATNESS...
Live After Death is, I believe, one of the greatest live albums ever made. Maiden's reputation has always been as a live act. Everyone I know who sees them live understands why after the fact, & they are still out there today. This is one of many live Maiden albums you should buy, they never disappoint, & one reason is that quite often the live version of a song is better then the studio version. That's saying something considering how good Maiden is. Also, if ou have the chance to see them live, do it. You'll hate yourself if you don't.

| Set the standard
for all their other live albums (which are quite a bit). Great collection of songs. It's one of the only ones that has Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner on it which makes it a real gem.

| Maiden greatest album
There is something about L.A.D,and for me is that it's not only the greatest metal show ever; but also Maiden greatest albun as well. Almost all the songs here sound much better than in studio. Check out The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (when it is heard the sound effect of the storm, just before Bruce shouts: Go Adrian and the solo begins).

| Best live ever!
This is the best live album along with Black Sabbath's Live evil. Good songs, good sound, great solos, everything is in control. The only thing to make Live after death perfect... just add The Prisoner to the set.

| THE live album
The only maiden live album you will ever need. The "classic lineup" is in peak form and so is the crowd. I had this on vinyl and cassette in the 80's and refused to buy the cd because it was missing side 4(the hammermith songs) until the reissue a few years ago. Thanks for making an old fan happy. BUY IT.
