This is an interesting CD
I've never heard of this artist but while looking for some blues came across. Very interesting CD as it has different genres of music: Rock,Pop, do-wap and blues. He has a variable vocal range. The reason I'll buy this is because it meets my criteria of buying: must like at least 60 % of the songs.

I'm a huge Gary Clark jr. fan. However, I really wish they just released his performance at the Crossroads festival on disc. With the exception of numb I don't think they captured what Gary does best. Even bright lights sounds homogenized. I knew this going into my purchase. I want Gary to be successful and record a devastating CD.Unfortunately this isn't it. It's really good, just not great. Looking forward to his next release.....Crossroads? That would have been something. He was magic on that stage. THIS WAS WORTH MY DIME JUST FOR NUMB THOUGH.......GREAT WELL RECORDED SONG. That's Gary at his best.
