Love Committee Law & Order CD (1978)
Buonamente: L'e' tanto tempo hormai Law & Order is the best of Love Committee's two albums. The quartet featured Ron Tyson, who sang with the Ethics and the Temptations. Love Committee first made noise with a 12" dance track "Can't Win for Losing" on Ariola-America. Ron Baker, Norman Harris and Earl Young handled the productions. "Cheaters Never Win" has them switching leads like the Temptations, the lyrics are street, and the rhythm swings. The title track "Law and Order" is a slab of social commentary that's reminiscent of Blue Magic's "Welcome to the Club." Another winner, "Just as Long," is a dance track about two-timing your lover and regretting doing so, but doing it anyway. "Put It in the Back of Your Mind," and "Pass the Buck" also merit repeated plays. Tyson co-wrote all nine selections. In 1995, Salsoul Records re-released this on CD. ~ Andrew Hamilton

Season Of Carols Season Of Carols CD (2012)
Buonamente: L'e' tanto tempo hormai Season of Carols began as the tiniest seed of an idea: to raise money for Season of Concern by recording one holiday song. That tiny idea quickly blossomed to include 18 holiday songs recorded by some of the brightest stars of the Chicago theatre and music community. 100% of the proceeds of this CD go to benefit Season of Concern.
All of the vocal talent is being graciously donated by some of Chicago's best performers like The Lincoln Squares, Birdie Wing, Cheri Coons, the casts of Christmas Schooner, Motherhood the Musical, the Chicago cast of Million Dollar Quartet, Starting Here, Starting Now, Violet, Floyd Collins, The Hunchback Variations and A Little Night Music. This diverse collection includes original holiday tunes, Hanukkah songs, traditional Christmas carols and other winter favorites. Close to 100 artists came together to volunteer their time, money and skills, to raise money for this incredible local charity.
Season of Concern is the Chicagoland theatre community's fundraising organization, providing compassionate care to those in our community who are experiencing the effects of catastrophic illness. This effort supports the fight against HIV and AIDS by contributing to programs that provide direct care (personal financial support, housing care, meals, medications, legal assistance, and other services) to members of the Chicago and Midwestern theatre community; and by addressing emergency needs expressed by theatre community ...
