Getting reaquainted
Besides their radio hits, I stopped listening to Rush after Power Windows (which I really liked). Hold Your Fire kind of dampened my enthusiasm. Recently, I got "caught up" with their albums, and I enjoyed this one as much as Roll the Bones. I think Test for Echo was a bit better, though.

Rush one of the best
One of the greatest albums of the 90, the lyrics and melodies are wanderfull. I fully recomend it.

Gotta Have It
As a Rush fan from way back this was the effort I was waiting for in the 90's. Stick It Out is a great song and the lyrics to Nobody's Hero ring more true as each day passes. This is a "must have" in anyone's rock collection.

You MUST hear this one!
OK, I've been a Rush fan since 1980 or so. Before MP came out. Since then, I've followed their changes in style and sound. Roll the Bones was ok at the time (now I don't like it as much) and Test For Echo is also "ok", but Counterparts... I loved it from the first song to the last song (and still do). Lots of different stuff on here. The grunge-y/hard rock sound is all over this release and the lyrics and musicianship is stellar as always. If you're a fan of the keyboard days - then you might not care for this one. Vesper2112.

If you get stranded on a remote island and had only one choice on the album you can have, this would be the one you would want.
