Paint Your Wagon This is one of my all time classic favorites. We did not have it in our collection, but now we have it to enjoy any time we wish, without commercial interruption. One of the best musicals of all times Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin as the lead rolls in a musical ?!? Who would have thunk it. Yet perhaps one of the best musicals of all time. Marvin as the the timeless drifter always searching for gold, saving and befriending farmer Eastwood and ending up together mining for gold in an old west mining town. Great musical scores, great story lines, and great performances from the whole cast. And Eastwood can actually carry a tune. By M B Goode (Illinois USA)  This review is for a different format.

it's fun just sit back and enjoy this movie it's easy to watch and fun . no heavy thinking or intense scenes . just lighthearted humor with tounge in cheek comedy and the songs are both cute and thought provoking . By lauriedhs (dhs ca usa)  This review is for a different format.

Not as good as the first time Funny how this movie was the best I'd seen when first released. Now, how many years later...Clint Eastwood singing? Lee Marvin is still wonderful and Mariah was never better. Although I'm glad to add it to my collection, be aware that it is what it is...a musical from the past.
