UNBEATABLE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy album I have been a fan for about 22-years now... & this has always been my favorite album! I couldn't believe it when I found out this would include the entire album live! I've been to about 5 of his concerts & prayed for him to sing songs off this album, but have only heard "Better Off Dead" live. This is a real treat for any true Elton John fan!

One of the best records ever.....
Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy CD music It's my favorite Album from EJ (and I am a Swiss fan since 1973 !), but these live trax and also the fantastic Saturday is one of the best live recordings I ever heard - A MUST BY (not only for hardcore fans).

Elton Hasn't Sounded Better
Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy music CDs Kudos to the production crew of not only this album; but, all of the SCAD audios available by this beloved artist. We need all of Elton's albums transferred to this digital surround sound format. The mixing, transfers and DSD editing are impeccable. If you want sound, and lyrics of an extraordinary artist, with technology to extoll his creativeness, this is it!

BELIEVE all the reviews you read about this SACD !!!
Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy songs A lot of SACDs don't really make it to the proclaimed hype about the format but the rare exceptions that do are exemplary. The LP version I have of this release is a pristine copy on the now defunct UK DJM label, along with my other EJ favourite "Tumbleweed Connection" on a Japanese Toshiba/EMI vinyl release have been blown to bits by these SACD releases. The "freshness" of these early releases from EJ's repertoire really "startled" me to say the least. Whoever did the remastering of these timeless classics from those old master tapes has done an absolutely splendid job. All the other comments about this SACD are correct. So BELIEVE.

Elton's finest
Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy album Elton John's finest album, superb repackaging now containing miniture replica poster and books from the original album release, and a great bonus disc of Elton and his band performing the album at Wembley stadium in 1975. This concept album tells the story of haw Elton & Bernie got together and takes you through their early years up to the Empty Sky album. it features the classic hit single Someone Saved My Life Tonight. A very highly recommended release.
