Everyone's favorite overweight, cross-dressing, trashy transgressor of norms, Divine was truly an original! A frequent star of John Waters films, he became a cult hero by overstepping societal boundaries of taste and behavior. Unbeknownst to many John Waters fans, Divine was also a musician; several of his songs were hits in the U.K. This special video release contains two 1983 live performances in Manchester. In his inimitably outrageous manner, the most Divine of them all sings and dances to several of his hit songs, many of which are as over-the-top as the performer himself.
