This DVD set is great for all Buffy fans, it includes the whole first season whereas the VHS sets only have a few of the episodes. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, new fans and old.

 Buffy Rocks!
It is great to be able to see all the old episodes when you want. DVD is the perfect format and the special features rock. I can't wait for the next season.

this season of buffy in my opinion is the best. its when sh started out, how she became the slayer and so forth. it started off where the movie left off, and joss whedon & the crew have been very good at what they do. my review? the series was much better than the original movie!!!!

I originally bought this for my 4 1/2 yr old daughter who LOVES Buffy. I ended up sitting and watching it with her. I really enjoyed it. I only started watching Buffy towards the end of the season. I really liked watching how it all started and having the whole first season.

If you're a Buffy fan, then this is a must for your collection. Not only does it contain the complete first season of Buffy, it also contains two short documentaries by Joss Whedon on some of the episodes. Everything is very high quality. And, the first season is possibly the most fun season of Buffy.
