| Get Closer illustrates Ronstadt's vocal ease
It appears that Linda Ronstadt was unsure of which direction to take this album as it offers quite a variety of styles or it could just be that the sequencing was off. Irregardless, her voice is the ultimate winner and she handles her vocals with ease and the perfect sentiment. The Jimmy Webb songs and "Mr. Radio" are especially nice.

GET CLOSER is one of the best albums to show the clarity and power of Linda Ronstadt's voice. It is also one of the most overlooked ones. It has a wide array of styles and demonstrates the top team of Ronstadt and Asher. This album deserves to be considered among her top efforts. It will soothe your nerves or get you up and going...depending on what you need.

A very uplifting cd to listen to. All of Linda's music is great and if you want something worth spending your money on, well this is it. It may be old music to some but it's worth your while to listen to it.
