| Ghosts That Haunt Me Music Ghosts That Haunt Me Music Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) worth the money!!! the lyrics on the album are excellent. the music jumps around through country, rock, and beyond. Submitted by decayingsunshine (indiana) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
CTD....Need I say more? Filled with typical CTD wit. Not a bad song on the album. Music that makes you want to sing and bop around to it when you're in your car...or anywhere for that matter. An album for all ages, my 55 year old dad asked if he could borrow it!!(I'm 27)A must have for a CTD listener. Submitted by a reviewer (Schenectady, NY, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Amazing This is arguably the best Crash Test Dummies album. Contains many of their best songs, and every song on the album is excellent. All CTD albums are (for me) must haves, but if i were to only have one, this would be the one i would own. it is simply amazing. Submitted by a reviewer (Austin, Tx, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Ghosts That Haunt Me
$15.55 Personnel: Rob Halford (vocals); Mike Chlasciak (guitar); Ed Roth (keyboards); Bobby Jarzombek (drums). Audio Mixer: Pete Martinez. Arrangers: Rob Halford; Ed Roth. At first glance, Halford's entry into the crowded holiday market looks like a parody. Heavy metal and Christmas make for strange bedfellows, and WINTER SONGS' pastoral cover art -- which depicts Rob Halford staring wistfully (with a goatee and shades) into a soft, snowy pine forest -- screams Spinal Tap. That said, the Judas Priest frontman approaches yuletide standards like "We Three Kings" and "What Child Is This?" with the same conviction that he applied to Priest classics like "Electric Eye" and "Freewheel Burning" ...

$11.94 Audio Mixers: David Darlington; Sting. Liner Note Author: Sting. Photographer: Tony Molina. Arranger: Sting. It's no secret that Sting is a serious man, so it's only logical that his holiday album -- his first new music since the Police reunion, not that it really matters -- is a serious endeavor, thank you. No niceties for him, no comforts of carols; he favors formal over familiar, writing madrigals, not ditties. ...

(vocals, guitar); Brian Hill (bass guitar); Joey Osbourne (drums). Black Sabbath was a major influence on a lot of the bands who recorded for Man's Ruin in the late '90s, and Acid King certainly doesn't escape the influence of early Sabbath on Busse Woods. This isn't to say that Acid King is a Sabbath clone -- far from it. True, Lori S.' singing owes a debt to Ozzy Osbourne, and her slow, forceful, brutal guitar riffs recall Tony Iommi's contributions to Sabbath. But the Bay Area band's heavy metal/stoner rock tends to communicate a looser, more ...

| | Stephen Franke & Noises from th Songs For A Platinum Blonde Diner Waitress CD (2004)
Ghosts That Haunt Me
$14.19 Normally, you'd probably do your best to ignore any unusual noises coming from the toolshed - but this particular sound is more than worth checking out. Led by jazz-groove guitarist/songwriter Stephen Franke, this hot new band has been making waves at festivals and clubs across North America since its formation in October 2002. Most recently they played to sold-out jazz festival, opening for Little Feat and DJ Jazzy Jeff. The spring of 2004 brings about the release of their debut album 'Songs for a Platinum Blonde Diner Waitress', on Blue Heron Records.Powered by the distinctive sound of Franke's 1949 Gibson L4 archtop guitar amplified through a Leslie organ speaker, Noises from the Toolshed play a unique blend of gypsy jazz and groove with strong Latin and Cuban influences. There are shades of Django Rheinhardt, Medeski Martin and Wood, Bruce Hornsby, Tom Waits and many others - all filtered through an innovative musical sensibility, scorching technique and a driving energy that's impossible to resist. Stephen Franke, a former student of prominent jazz musicians Hugh Fraser and Pat Coleman, spent his formative guitar-playing years working with members of Luther Wright and the Wrongs, ...
