From the early days of electronic experimentation in the pop field, Klaus Schulze's second solo album still today it stands as one of the most powerful examples of ambient pulse music ever conceived. The dense layers of rhythm and synthetic tone colors melt into a seamless, flowing soundscape of melody, motion and spatial effects. It's a monumental double album of "cosmic music." ~ Archie Patterson

What is this crazy artist going into, a cosmic orchestra? This CD is Klaus Schulze's second CD of "The Space Music Trilogy", including a beautiful cosmic orchestra full of violins, cellos, pipe organs and of course basses. Does this cosmic orchestra appear on the second track, Answer: Yes it does appear on the second track. What a wonderful CD Klaus Schulze has made with a cosmic orchestra of his own, with a bonus instrument called the pipe organ. | | Big Boss Man: The Best Of Jimmy Reed CDs (1999)
Cyborg
$11.95 Jimmy Reed followed a limited formula, but it worked time and time again, and his songs, because of their inherent structural simplicity, are among the most versatile in the blues canon, and have been covered by countless blues and pop artists. With his laid-back, slurred singing style stretched over a lazy, easy boogie rhythm, and punctuated by short ...

| | Kathy Mattea Definitive Collection CD (2006) Remastered
Cyborg
$11.25 Photographers: Peter Nash; Russ Harrington; Senor McGuire. Kathy Mattea is one of the brightest lights of the country scene, not just for her hitmaking ability--though she has that too--but for the deep soulfulness of her voice and her willingness to incorporate diverse elements (namely folk and gospel) into her sound. 2006's 20-track DEFINITIVE COLLECTION easily bests any prior Mattea compilation, and is an excellent way for both newcomers and long-time fans to get a taste of Mattea's large and varied discography. Reaching back to Mattea's early 1980s albums and continuing right through into the 2000s, DEFINITIVE skims the cream from the guitarist/singer's trove of fine performances, and includes "Love at the Five and Dime," "Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses," and "Where've You Been," among others. The Kathy Mattea entry in Universal Music's discount-priced hits series The Definitive Collection is the most extensive compilation on the country singer yet released, and it contains almost all of her major hits from the six-year period, 1986-1991, when she was one of the top hitmakers in country music. In addition, Robyn Flans' longer-than-usual liner notes benefit from a good interview with Mattea. When her most popular songs are played one after another, the listener is reminded anew of the surprisingly high quality of songwriting Mattea was able to identify within ...
