Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English When former resident Charles Danner (Azaria) writes a Sports Illustrated article exposing the "Saturday Game," the town of Mystery, Alaska is turned upside down. The game, a Mystery tradition, consists of locals, young and old, who gather weekly on a pond to play a serious game of hockey. A sports network sees big bucks in setting up an exhibition game between the Alaskans and the New York Rangers. Coming from mega-writer/producer Kelley and co-screenwriter O'Byrne, the film plays like a quirky blend of NORTHERN EXPOSURE and SLAPSHOT. Mystery, Alaska Reviews: "...It is Australian Crowe, a previous non-skater, who gives the film's standout performance....Crowe is one of those blessed leading men who can convincingly disappear inside a variety of roles..."

$8.55 In Tim Burton's stylish, creepy retelling of the classic Washington Irving story, SLEEPY HOLLOW, Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) is a squeamish, bookish 18th century New York City investigator sent to a small town in lower Westchester county to look into three mysterious decapitations. When the always rational Crane arrives at the little Dutch village, he finds that most of the townsfolk believe the culprit to be the Headless Horseman, the ghost of a monstrous Hessian soldier (Christopher Walken), who seems to be mysteriously tied in to one of the town's most prominent families. Burton's natural instincts for campy humor, ...

$10.69 Imaginative theology and a bigger-than-usual budget make Kevin Smith's (CHASING AMY, CLERKS) fourth film a kind of post-Catholic fantasy that only a comic-book enthusiast of his caliber could dream up. It concerns banished angels, Loki (Matt Damon) and Bartleby (Ben Affleck) who, after a few millennia in Wisconsin, discover a loophole in Catholic doctrine that would allow them back into heaven--but prove the fallibility of God and destroy the universe. As they make their way to New Jersey to receive a plenary indulgence, ...
