This movie is crazy!!! Well by crazy i mean is raw, and graphic. Well the ending is anyway. Yeah the first half it looks like a normal drama about finding love. But the secound half... is "something else" You will see what I mean. By busta718 (U.S.A)
An hybrid between Takeshi Kitano and David Lynch Slow paced movie that has the texture and the camera work of a Takeshi Kitano movie and the twisted plot of a David Lynch one. Great performances and some of the scenes are really creepy, but this is not what most people would call "an horror movie" in the standards of the industry. By a reviewer (Santiago, Chile)
Incredibly shocking Audition takes you on a seemingly safe ride on a passenger bus straight into the depths of a purgatory hell. Simply done, Audition displays the nature of psychotics and demonstrates the importance of background checks. It will leave you feeling alone and empty... which shows you how much of a risk it is to watch this film. You will never know if you will feel normal again. By a reviewer (Seattle, WA)
unable to "move" out of my seat... i can't really say that much about the movie except that it was disturbingly entertaining.... By eddie.nisperos (grandforks, north dakota)
"An Absolute Nail-Biting, Knuckle-Chewing Shocker!" Audition movie Most viewers of this superbly made horror flick has either voted it one the most brilliantly made piece of horror cinema ever made, or simply one of the sickest, vile, most gruesome puke-fest imaginable. Audition video Of course, I'm speaking of the last third of this otherwise unassuming film. For those who enjoyed "The Ring," baby, you ain't seen the best of it. The torture scene got me in complete stitches--albeit of the painful kind. The imagery is top-notch, the best in the genre. Not to mention, the eerie atmospherics which makes this one of the most important horror/thrillers to come out in a long long time. A definite masterpiece! By vinyqln69 (san diego, ca)
