the cd overall was ok. im not really into that really hard rock like the first couple songs.Im more into stuff like "she cries". Actually thats the only reason why i bought the cd. I love that song its one of my favorite songs.

If you like P.O.D. and Blind Side than you will definitely like this C.D. With a mix of Punk, Hard Rock and Christian Rock this C.D. gives a good message while playing good music. This is a really good C.D. Ya!!!!!!!!

Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club. Best of the latter is the naked and haunting closer "Roter Sand" but little touches of a sinister yesteryear are everywhere, like the fake vaudeville music in "Haifisch" or the soundtrack strings ...

Luther Grosvenor (Ariel Bender) got his start w/ former Traffic drummer Jim Capaldi in"Deep Feeling". after recording a single produced by famed Yardbirds manager Giorgi Gomelksy, Luther moved on to the VIP'S. the vip's featured vocalist Mike Harrison, Greg Ridley & Mike Kellie who had a hit w/ the Island single "Straight Down to the Bottom. Later the VIP'S became pre-Spooky Tooth psychedelic band 'Art'. After recording one album for Island records in 1967 entitled "Supernatural Fairytails", they enlisted in the help of American Gary Wright to become Spooky Tooth.Luther recorded 4 albums w/ them before they disbanded. He recorded his 1st solo lp "Under Open Skies" in 1971 & joined 'Stealers Wheel'for 6 months before joining 'Mott the Hoople' under the moniker Ariel Bender. Fourteen months later he left Mott & formed Widowmaker (not the Dee Snyder band). with Widowmaker he recorded 2 albums.Luther made his 'comeback' in 1995 w/ 2 songs he recorded for a Peter Green tribute 'Rattlesnake Guitar'. Later in 1996 he took the core musicians from those sessions (Mike Kellie, Jess Roden) & recorded his first solo album 'Floodgates' since 1971. The new cd is produced by Mick Dolan who has produced albums from Mick Jagger, Jim Capaldi & Steve Winwood. Luther Grovesnor's second solo album was a long time coming. The first, back in 1972, caught him midway between stints with Spooky Tooth and, in the guise of glam rock hooligan Ariel Bender, Mott the Hoople. The second, almost a quarter of a century later, caught him somewhere between forgotten hero-dom and absolute obscurity, and in the handful of interviews he gave around that time, he seemed to prefer it that way. He talked of living a normal life and playing guitar for fun. But back in the studio for the first time in years, it was as though he'd never been away. This is not, if any stray Mott fans are passing, an Ariel Bender album.
