4 out of 5 stars Pretty Good I really liked this one. But I still like High Voltage, and Let There Be Rock more. And I liked Bon scott better than Brian Johnston. I still have to give them credit for coming up with something this good for a first album with a new singer. By tony (Las Vegas , NV) | (12) |

5 out of 5 stars A staggering achievement and a brilliant album What can one say? At the least one can say that Back in Black is staggering achievement and a brilliant album for the following 3 reasons: (1)Had to replace Bon. (2)Back in Black followed the highly successful Highway to Hell album. (3)There is no weakness in the album.
As of today, over 42-million albums of Back in Black have sold world-wide—the second highest in world history.
Quentessential AC/DC. Back in Black is an amazing album by an amazing hard-rock band. Love it. In fact, I am listening to it now ("Have a Drink on Me", to be specific).

5 out of 5 stars Best AC/DC ever I have heard people saying that ¨Highway to hell¨ is the best AC/DC album but in my opinion this is the best one, the music and songs are perfect there is no bad song on this album, my favorite one ¨Let me put my Love into you¨ but the whole album is amazing, if you have not heard this album before do it. I agree that Bon Scott was great and obviously their original singer and that was why at the time he passed away AC/DC was forced to released a much better album than the ones with Bon Scott to have their fans happy and that the band and their music still over the time. 5 out of 5 stars Best Album Yet This is one of Ac-DC's best yet. It marks the return of AC-DC since lead singer Bon Scott died. I think Brian Johnson is dong one heck of a good job in this album. I'm not saying that any of their other albums arn't any good, but I just think this is one great album. By hipie (Des Moines, IA,USA) | (0) |

3 out of 5 stars STAPLE IN WORLD HISTORY this is truely the greatest rock and roll album of all time (and the 5th best selling album of all time). This album broke records, this album changed rock and roll music, this album changed music standards, this album has the greatest talent you will ever find in any musical band. R.I.P. Ronald Belford Scott. This album was a tribute to Bon Scott. But really...legends never truely die :) By ALTON (Clarksville, MI) | (0) |

5 out of 5 stars great stuff When Bon Scott died most people thought AC/DC died with him... and then this album can out and blew thier freak'in socks off!!
While I still believe that Bon was better, Melcome and Angus could not have found a better replacement then Mr. Johnson. The title track Back in Black says it all. This band is here to stay and they'll keep rock'in no matter what happens By Ben (Saginaw Michigan) | (0) |

5 out of 5 stars Brian & AC/DC's best Just like Highway To Hell was Bon Scott & AC/DC's best,Back In Black is Brian Johnson & AC/DC's best. With such hits as Hells Bells,Shoot To Thrill,You Shook Me All Night Long and the title track this is great, but with songs like Let Me Put My Love Into You and Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution and the rest of the songs are fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars "MUTT" LANGE + AC/DC = SMASH I was wondering "what makes this album smoke and why was it so huge"? 1 obvious reason is the man behind the controls, ROBERT JOHN"MUTT"LANG. working with the band for 2nd time he was able to continue the momemtum that was started on HIGHWAY TO HELL. 2nd was the fact that melodic heavy metal had not been really explored. i mean you had HEAVY METAL and MELODIC ROCK but as far combining the 2 in the way that AC/DC did was something of a novelty. this album is chock-full of thunderous riffs and hook-laden tracks that just flat out scream. The band could have just mailed this one in but the guys were determined to move ahead and prove something. There is not one single weak track here which is uncommon among bands of today. AC/DC would not enjoy the monumental success that this provided in the future but this album will stand the test of time. "MUTT" LANGE and the band need to get together on another project to see if some more metal magic can be revived. | (0) |

5 out of 5 stars Brain's ATTACK In BLACK This is the first CD with new fontman Brain Johnson after the late & great Bon Scott. This is a nice hard-rock/heavy metal album. It's worth getting, if you don't take my word for it maybe Hells Bells, Shoot To Thrill, What Do You Do For Money Honey, Back In Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, & Rock' N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, say other wise. Bottom line this album rocks | (0) |

4 out of 5 stars Very good, but not their best. After incomparable frontman Bon Scott died, AC/DC recruited screecher Brian Johnson and went back to work, producing this smash hit in 1980.
"Hell's Bells", a hard rock classic starts it off. While it's got a chilling atmosphere and some great guitar work, my main problem with BACK IN BLACK is evident here: the lyrics. Johnson's a great singer (though he doesn't have Bon's range), but the words are stereotypical Satanism. Nothing imaginative, nothing like the simple, powerful, and fun lyrics of "Highway to Hell."
"Shoot to Thrill" is an album highlight, with the Youngs rockin' and a perfectly sung chorus, but here's another problem: the sexism is flat out embarrassing. While previous AC/DC songs like "Shot Down In Flames" and "Touch Too Much" added humor, absurdity, and even some humility to sex songs, BACK IN BLACK's openly say: Women are good only for sleeping with. Never is this more apparent then in "What Do You Do For Money Honey", a fun song with a killer beat that nevertheless makes me a little sick to my stomach when I listen carefully to what Johnson is howling. "Given The Dog A Bone" is just as bad. At least "Let Me Put My Love Into You" accentuates BACK IN BLACK's best feature, which is atmosphere. Then there's the title track, an alltime anthem that witnesses some of the Young's better guitar work.
"You Shook Me All Night Long"...great guitars, a superb rhythm to the verses, but it's just too stupid. Sex is an awesome subject for songs, but I love AC/DC because they actually put work into their lyrics for sex anthems. None here.
I do love "Have a Drink On Me", a fittingly tasteless tribute to Bon. Great beat, yellable chorus.
"Shake a Leg" is OK, but we all see the recycling of "Dirty Deeds Done Cheap", don't we.
"Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" is my favorite song here. An amazing opening, with quiet guitars and Johnson railing like some twisted preacher. Then they rage in to the unstoppable chorus. THAT'S why I listen to AC/DC: They love rock and roll.
So, BACK IN BLACK? If you're not paying attention to what they're saying, you'll have a blast. But I have to say it's slightly overrated. AC/DC's peak is HIGHWAY TO HELL. Get that first. By Orion (Buffalo, NY, USA) | (0) |

5 out of 5 stars Great Stuff Wow, I feel sorry for Mr. So Overrated from Overrated. He obviously had no idea what he was talking about and came on here just to make a fool of himself. I just happen to be one of those kids in the "sweat-stained" AC/DC and Led Zeppelin shirts and it just so happens that I love both bands, and so do many of my friends. Probably you should actually get some facts before you presume to know what your talking about. This album is friggin' awesome! Probably one of AC/DC's greatest...probably one of rock 'n roll's greatest. Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, Hells Bells, and Shoot to Thrill are all hard rock classics. Anyone with even the slightest appreciation for rock music should own this CD. I also recommend AC/DC Live. God knows AC/DC is one of the world's best live acts. By Brent (Yorktown, VA, USA) | (0) |

Every young man should own a copy of "Back in Black", as every stripper already does. "You Shook Me All Night Long" is what rock 'n roll is all about, and Angus Young's guitar solo is sublime. Great atmosphere on this one, and their best effort. Absolute classic! | (0) |

5 out of 5 stars Back In Black Back In Black is hardest rock cd ever. Brian Johnson screams with sheer brilliance fallowed my some of the best guitar work you will ever hear. This cd makes you wonder why AC/DC didn't choose Brian in the first place. Bon wrote classics (TNT etc....) but Brian is more suited to AC/DC than Bon . This cd is there dirtiest and hardest yet. There is a total of 5 swear words . 1 B*tch 2 D*mn and 2 A*s. The cd is also full of fowl double entendres and the worst lyrically being the moody Hells Bells.
So get but skip past hells bells and keep it away from the kids. | (0) |
