5 out of 5 stars Totally Original--Melodic/Pop Metal At It's Finest "Without Love" represets THE definitive melodic/power-pop metal album of our time. These guys were on the scene in LA before the likes of Ratt, even Crue. However, because they wanted a particular German producer who wasn't available for nearly two years, their debut album was long delayed and by the time it was released, they seemed like just another LA glam band. But this album, their second, captures a sound that no one has truly ever captured on a record before or since. The music is extremely catchy, but powerful. It reminds me of the magic that Def Leppard had on "Pyromania." Just that perfect blend of melody, awesome metal riffs, an pure listen-ability. Enjoy! | (2) |

4 out of 5 stars CD Universe, Make a Correction This album was their SECOND studio album, not their fourth and final. This was the album that caught Gene Simmons's attention and this was the album that caught Jon Bon Jovi's attention in working with producer Bruce Fairbairn, so this is actually quite an influential album. And it's a great one! Good music, one of the better hard rock bands to come out of the 80s. By Bob (Port Murray, NJ, USA) | (0) |
