Anyone submitting a positive review here was not a long-term Bob fan. This album is simply stupid and does not warrent a listen. Bob attempted to stretch into some sort of techno/guitar genre and failed to elicit any kind of positive results in either medium. If you enjoyed ANY of Mould's previous albums, you'll hate this. Do yourself a favor and buy "Black Sheets of Rain" today.

Come on now - the Ramones are in the freakin' Rock n Roll Hall of Fame; they must be pretty good, right? A thousand writers more articulate than you and I have declared the Ramones the kings of punk - don't doubt them. This was my first punk album, and nothing has even come close since. It deserves a spot in your colection.

Wilco experiments once again. Never satisfied with the tools they used on their earlier albums, the band uses hired hands and old vets to craft another enigmatic modern rock masterpiece. Wilco is like a soap opera - you can be a longtime fan or jump in anytime and get engrossed in it just the same; just make sure you go back and enjoy the reruns. Every Wilco album is worth owning.

I grew up on this album! Had this one on vinyl and cassette, and played them all the time. Definitely showing it's age now (80's sound) but still worth a play. "New Girl Now" will always be timely and listenable.

Always looking for the "alternative" metal band (something other than the Crue and Def Leppard), I found Black N Blue to be the answer in the mid 80's. We used to blast this band from the tape deck in my buddy's Impala(!), and always had guys asking us who it was. This really is a good album if you like hard rock from this era. I recommend all their albums.
