U2 never has been a great band. This album is ridiculous and over- commercialized. Bono has little creative talents and its all a dorky looking image with sunglasses. Do us a favor U2 and hang it up.

4 starsFlowers in the Dirt (1989)
Excellent McCartney album. After Paul was doing miserably in the 80's with HORRIBLE albums like Press To Play [86] and Pipes of Peace [83], Flowers in the Dirt was his comeback album and it IS a great album by the way. Some songs do have that late 80s production but most of the songs are timeless classics. I suggest getting the CD with 3 bonus tracks, the 1993 remastered version. It sounds better and has 3 bonus tracks that were singles. Those being Back On My Feet, Flying To My Home and Loveliest Thing. They're not amazing songs but for a dollar more i'll take a few more songs! MCCARTNEY FOREVER!

Venus and Mars is classic rock all the way. Letting Go is a great rock song. Call Me Back Again, Listen to What the Man Said and Venus and Mars are all classics. This is one of Wings best albums. Wings last album Back to The Egg (1979) is leaning more toward hard rock but on Venus it's soft/ hard rock. Great album.

The last Wings album released in 1979 is full of heavy rock songs and soft ballads. Never before did Paul rock this hard and write such dramatic ballads like Winter Rose or Love Awake. Although this album didnt reach #1 (it reached #6 on the US Charts) it spawned the hit single Daytime Nighttime Suffering. Great album with great rock music from WINGS.

How can this album be sub standard to the others? Look at the tracks. All You Need Is Love, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever, Magical Mystery Tour, Iam the Walrus, Fool On The Hill, Hello Goodbye. Pretty damn far from sub standard. Make no mistake, the Beatles still remain the greatest band ever. Everything else is sub standard.

Although this is the worst of the Rolling Stones' albums, ITS NOT THAT BAD! Its actually enjoyable sometimes. Although the production is cheesy, what do you expect? It was the sound of the times. Compared to country music and rap and all the other new crap music this is great.

The Rolling Stones dont need to come out with anything anymore since they could have retired back in the 60's. At least its not dead. Yet.

The extremely awesome album "Band On The Run" (1973) by Paul McCartney & Wings beat Dark Side of The Moon for album of the year and was more popular. The music is better too. But then again, anything is better than Pink Floyd. Except country, rap and modern pop which is basicallly everything but you know what I mean.

There is too much filler songs on this album. This could have been like Rumours but I dont think enough songs were taken out of it. The songs that dont belong here are "Thats All For Everyone", "Not That Funny", and "Thats Enough For Me". Those songs really arent very good at all and make the album sound bad. The rest is stunning.

The Zombies music is absolutely amazing. Their legendary 1968 album, "Odessey and Oracle" is in the top 100 of Rolling Stones top albums and it is VERY ahead of its time even to todays standards. It has that haunting, timeless feel to it that few albums have. They are one of the greatest bands in history but never got the credit they deserved for making such intricate, fragile harmonies so long ago.

What a disgrace! This sounds like some boy band. This IS NOT the Boston that made songs like "More Than A Feeling", "Foreplay/ Longtime", "Peace of Mind". This is quite possibly the worst album I have ever heard in my life. I cant believe how bad it is. I know Scholz is capapble of writing songs better than this, or at least making them sound better. DO NOT BUY THIS! EVER! Shame on you Boston. Todays music sounds better than this crap. And that is sad.

4 starsThe Crucible (1996)
This movie is difficult to follow if you dont have an understanding of the actual original play. Arthur Miller, who just died in 2005, famous for the production of "Death of a Salesman", wrote this during the 1950's when Washington was obsessed with finding Communist conspirators. Miller compared it to the out of control witch hunts of 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts in which 19 people were hung for practicing witchcraft. It gets better the more you watch it.

For all the people criticizing this album I have something to say to you. What do you expect? Havent Fleetwood Mac made enough legendary music for one lifetime? They cant keep coming out with the stuff of the late 70's. That was then, this is now. And besides, do you hear newer artists coming out with music that sounds this good? Goodbye Baby is absoultely beautiful and the title track is very proressive sounding. Say Goodbye is absoulte crap however. This album could be better if there werent 18 songs with most of them being filler.

4 starsABOUT TIME
This is Youngs second CD in eight months and what a CD it is. It is about time someone stands up and bashes our criminal president. Who cares if Neil Young is Canadian. At least Canadian musicians can speak up about American issues. Our own artists cant do that. Because our artists in America suck. Making over- commercialized, computerized music. Neil can make good, thought- provoking music and he plays instruments! Imagine that! But of course, I know that Americans are too scared, too tired and too side- tracked with materialism to protest issues, so I doubt this great album will have an effect. It is unfortunate. It is unfortunate.

Rolling Stone listed this album as one of the top 100 albums ever made in history. Its hard to belive this music was made in 1967. Songs like "Friends of Mine", "This Will Be Our Year", which sound like it could have come out a few weeks ago, "Hung Up On A Dream" was so ahead of its time it still would sound ahead of its time if it were released today. "Time Of The Season" is an instantly recognizable song to almost everyone because its on the radio so much. Note the strange spelling of "Odyssey". What an album.
