Perfect Family (2011)
Catholic, Gay & SadThis movie reminds me of the plight of this world we live in, stuck in the past, old ways and values. Except that in the family and peoples faith in real life, they do not stick to their guns, they give in to how things are as opposed to the way things should be. When you are doing God's will and do your best to follow his word, you don't change to include how everything changes in this so-called modern and progressive world. You do what is right, not what is right now! It is sad, but not in a "You are going to cry way", but in a "It is sad to see the world changing to include what is wrong kind of way". So as books, movies, music and television change to be all inclusive and tolerate what is wrong, it is better to stick to what is right in God's eyes as opposed to Man's. Rascal Flatts Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 (2008) Top Seller
Wait until ... the "Essential"Wait until they put out an "Essential" collection, which should essentially cover all the hits in order of either their location on the album, their position on the charts. When the artist or record company put out greatest hits like this, you know they plan on milking everybody for their cash to eventually acquire all their hits. Recommendation, due like Kelly Clarkson, she put out a Volume or Chapter One and it covers all her hits, although they could have put the "Darkside" on it as well. Don't do Faith Hill!!! Zac Brown / Zac Brown Uncaged (2012) Top Seller
Unnatural DisasterExcept for couple of songs on this album, it is a pretty mediocre effort by Zac and the band. It doesn't feel like they took their time with this one and just settled for a couple upbeat tunes and the rest just OK! The other thing that was confusing is the album cover, it would lead you to think that the music was going to be haunting and full of imagery, but it was not. One more thing, the title was "Uncaged", so where is the noise, jamming, barn burners and so forth? Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 8/29/2012

Help (2011) Top Seller
Widescreen
The Help that helped the Bored & Lazy White Folk! This for me was just more evidence of how un-educated, ignorant, selfish, arrogant, bored and lazy white folk were and still are. How could they treat another human being so poorly and get away with it? The sad thing is, they would treat their own kin just as bad, but not do so in such a condescending way. It also shows how shallow all who acted like that and treat another human being that poorly. I l.m.a.o. when she made that woman eat her blank. I also appreciated how they loved the white peoples children more than the white people loved their own children, everything for them was just status and how things appeared to their neighbors and the town. All I got to say about that is "Who Cares"! If I was a descendant of someone who was either superficially racist or deep down racist like the racist groups back then and now, I would be so ashamed of having that person or those persons in my family. All I want to say to all of the black community that has ever lived on this earth and it won't be enough, "I AM SO, SO, SO SORRY"!!! Only God through his Son can bring the justice these people so deserve and I look forward to that day. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 4/8/2012

OMC How Bizarre (1997)
The Lyrics and the English Vocals, How Bizarre? The music and other things mixed in, offer a laidback, mellow, but kind of hum-drum tone to the whole album. The only catchy, upbeat and shortest song on here is the title track of "How Bizarre". Quite a few of the songs, I would have stuck with the music part and the catchy but simple lyrics, but the rest of the lyrics I would have re-wrote. I also would have tried to infuse a more upbeat tone to them as well. The other artists he was compared to, are not radio friendly artists, they are alternative or new wave depending on the decade their from and they don't write upbeat and catchy lyrics to appeal to the radio either. Peter Gallagher 7 Days in Memphis (2005)
DualDisc
Suprisingly Good!My wife and I were visiting Hemet, CA and visited a store called DVD's4Less. They also had used CD's and we found this and bought it just to check it out. It was not bad, not always do actors who sing, sing as well as Peter does here. It is good that he had Steve Cropper, it is always good they have familiar players and a good label behind them, otherwise people most likely would not check this out, unless they are a family member, friend or colleague. Journey Eclipse (2011)
My Journey Has Ended...for now!I personally do not have the Journey albums prior to the themed album covers, Steve Perry and Captured. I also don't have the EP and the following 2 albums with Steve Augieri either. I bought the Armageddon soundtrack for the one song, but that was it. I bought nothing until Revelation (great package deal) and Eclipse (impulse buy due to it being Journey). I agree with the other reviewers, that this is the album that Neal Schon has been wanting to make for a long time. I also agree with the opinion that this is Journey re-energized, but re-energized for a new generation of Journey fans, not necessarily with myself included. I enjoyed it very much, it is rockin', not much on ballads or the signature Journey sound. The Classic Rock sound of Journey of the past is gone, and for some it means retirement of this sound in their life. Although for the current generation, who is hooked on groups of old for nostalgia sake and thinks its cool, this will be their Journey, not mine! Iron Man 2 (2010) Top Seller
Widescreen; Dubbed; Subtitled
I agree with Brian PThey should have paid the amount needed to have kept the actor who played or would play War Machine, for cast continuity. Yes, I to agree with Stark being more arrogant this time as well and also a little unhinged, when it came to signing over the company, giving up his position to Ms. Potts and dealing with his health issues. The Black Widow should have had more screen time as Black Widow. More development of a background story when it came to Whiplash. The S.H.I.E.D. scenes, really meant nothing. The Hammer character was adding an additional arrogant character and the movie was not made better by it. So I don't know whose idea it was to overload the script, but it should have been re-thought. Jon Favreau did an excellent job with the first movie and I am pretty sure he could have done the same with the second, if he would have been given the right script, pared down. They could have just focussed on his health, Whiplash, War Machine fitting into his roll and fleshing out the future Avenger Project. Black Widow could have been introduced in the next installment or upcoming Avenger Movie. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 2/21/2011

Beau Coup Born & Raised (On Rock & Roll)
2 My 1st Could've Been LoveI found the 45-Single of Sweet Rachel and from there bought the cassette and then the CD. I agree with everyone except the individual who said if you liked Journey, Journey is much better, this is more like the local band who were good, but never blew up. The story begins and ends in the late 1980's, she was beautiful and I wish I would have been less naive and more confident to share how I felt about her when I had the opportunity. If I had a time machine, I would go back, but maybe the memory and the fantasy would have been better than the reality. Since I don't have a time machine, and I been married for 20 years, this one stays a memory/fantasy. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 1/28/2011

Zac Brown / Zac Brown You Get What You Give (2010) Top Seller
A Change, but still QualityThis album highlights: the warm violin, their harmony, laid back country sound, jam band and jimmy buffet-like sound as well. This may not be the radio hit oriented album, but its overall quality just blends. The only negative I found with this album, was on the track "Whiskey Gone", it referenced telling someone to "lick his or my sack" and then when it went into more instruments playing he said the world "crap" but the stronger word. On this song in particular, I found that to be unnecessary. In the world we live in, they make reference to that as being "Edgy", it is just play on words, because it is just meant to shock and offend. Other then that, it was a great album. Sorry boys, when you play country, fans only accept "heck" and "darn", the rest belong in rock and rap. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 9/26/2010

Xxtra BreakI wish the group would have put the video version of "Break" on the album, because the eerie part in the beginning and at the end, makes the song to a "T". Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 7/25/2010

Dennis Deyoung One Hundred Years from Now (2007)
Digipak
Forgiveness, Maybe? It is obvious to all of Styx fans both old and new, that without D.D.Y. it is not Styx! Edge of the Century even with Glenn Burtnick, would not have been good without D.D.Y.. Cyclorama and the Covers album don't even come close to being good and could only be great with D.D.Y. back. Of course Cyclorama would have been better and he would have never done those covers, without doing Styx versions or nothing. This album would be over the top with Shaw & Young doing background on them and you would need to turn up the keyboards and make them over the top like Styx keys were. Other than that, D.D.Y. deserves a pat on the back, Hi-Five and a firm handshake, for shaking the dust off the past and gracing us with more classic rock and roll. AC / DC Iron Man 2 (2010)
(Import)
NOT ENOUGH!!!Even though your careers are on a HIGH with both "Black Ice" & "Iron Man 2", some of your fan's want a strictly by the book greatest hits. First and foremost, we want all the most popular and radio released hits and the most common and popular versions as well. You have already milked the proverbial cow on Live albums, as well as alternative takes, acoustic versions and extended versions. It is time for the "By the Book" greatest, double greatest, the CASH-IN package. Heaven forbid we mention, you are getting old and if you don't put them out your record company eventually will! Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 6/22/2010

Faith Hill Hits (2007)
A Summation, Not A Complete Hit Package! As the written comments on this album read, down at very bottom of the reviewer's comments, this is not your standard "CASH-IN", it should be! Her considerate husband Tim or his record company have given us, 3 count them 3 greatest hits packages. All she and her record company have done is, this one and the Import "There You'll Be", which is totally bogus! We as her fan's want a Volume One & Two or a 2-Disc greatest hits! We do not want a Boxed Set, "New" versions of songs, alternate takes, acoustic versions or Live versions either, you can do that before or after you do the Boxed Set. Please, please the fan's, don't milk the cow sort of speak like Dolly Parton has with all her different packages, but NO real complete greatest hits. Steve Winwood Revolutions: The Very Best of Steve Winwood (2010)
Limited Edition; Boxed Set
Steve Picked, Fan's Should Pick!First of all, if anyone knows the Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits, it was put out for the fan's and to get their money back on the album "Chinese Democracy". Although the tracks selected were perfect for the radio fan's, maybe not the album fan's or the group themselves. The fan's pay the bills, anyway! Here is a Boxed Set, both multi and single disc, but it is what Steve chose not necessarily what the fan's would have selected. We as the fan's, want greatest hits C.D.'s from each seperate group or solo project, not necessarily a Boxed Set. A Boxed Set is what you put out after one if not more greatest hits C.D.'s are released! So Steve and his record company if you are listening, please put out a greatest hits package from his 9 solo albums with all the album, radio and original versions on it, no "New" versions, alternate takes, accoustic or live versions at all. Take a cue from Gun's N' Roses Greatest Hits and give the fan's what they have been waiting for, for a long time. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 6/22/2010

Land of the Lost (2009)
Widescreen; Dubbed; Subtitled
The Movie That Should Be LostAfter watching this I was surprised to see Sid & Marty Kroft names even associated with it. There were some slightly amusing scenes and the Sleestak were alright, otherwise it fell flat. The old T.V. version was so much better, it was campy and corny, but better. They could have done so much better! They should have gotten Mel Brooks and done more of a History of the World - Part 1 type of movie and it would have been better. This movie wished it was campy and corny, it. In the words of Will Farrell as Rick Marshall, "This Blows"! Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA) 4/17/2010

Minimalistix Whistling Drive (2008)
(Import)
Not Too Much Whistling, Plenty For The DriveWith 7-mixes on this CD-Single, there is plenty for the drive. If your a fan of whistling or not, you should be ok here, there is enough for your enjoyment but not enough to annoy the most sensitive about whistling. The first 3-mixes here are the best of 7 mixes, the other 4-mixes shift into Electronic/Club Bumpin' mixes that of course would satisfy the Ibiza/Dinah Shore/White Party crowd. Kenny Chesney Greatest Hits (2000) Top Seller
Someone Should Of Told You So!This greatest hits is just one shy of being a complete 5 star, that is the song "Grandpa Told Me So", otherwise it is fantastic.
Sorry to say his forthcoming Greatest Hits Volume II, will leave off enough hits to enable him to do a Greatest Hits Volume III without putting out another album. That will ensure future income in this down economy, for sure! Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 4/21/2009

Phil Collins ...Hits (1998) Top Seller
The Hits +This is a fine collection and deserves a 5 star rating, but would have been even better with the following: Long, Long Way To Go, Don't Lose My Number, Inside Out. I am sure there is even more unsung hits, that should have been included. We will have to wait for a more expanded hits collection. Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA, USA) 4/9/2009

Land Before Time (1988)
Full Frame; Anniversary Edition; Dubbed; Subtitled; DTS Sound
Great Movie, They need to grow up!Great "First" movie, but they need for the main characters to grow up and move on. Each of the adventures they've had so far could have been done as they grew up. When they have a dozen or so movies and have never grown up, they call that a animated TV show, not a movie. They couldn't have come up with stories that showed them growing up? Based on the number of installments they have now, they wouldn't become adults having their own babies until what Land Before Time~40? Just like all the other Live-Action and Animated series, 3 to 6 installments is sufficient, unless your Jason Voorhees! Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA) 8/24/2008

David Lanz Finding Paradise (2002)
Robin Doesn't CI have been a fan ever since I just randomly purchased either Desert Vision or Natural States at Wherehouse now FYE. It may seem that David went from the New Age genre to the more Jazz filler music on Light Hit stations on this album. An artist going down the path of New (Spiritual) Age, would eventually want to break out of it and make something a little different to keep his battery charged. Just as Neal Schon of Journey played with: Santana, Journey, Bad English, Hardline, Schon & Hammer, Hagar-Schon-Aaronson-Shrieve and now his foray into New Age. So you must allow an artist to grow, whether or not you approve of what that growth produces. Simply, just don't buy it! Submitted by a reviewer (Palm Springs, CA) 12/22/2007

Cock Robin Simply the Best (2001)
In Baseball, it would be Triple headed for a Grand Slam !Being a fan of the 80's I totally recommend this album based on the first three hits. Then as you listen to the rest of the album, you and we will find out not only what made them successful, but be able to mine other hits that did not seem to be radio friendly hits according to the industry, but not to fans. Gary Allan Greatest Hits (2007) Top Seller
Gary "California Coast" BondsHere is a prime example of what all country artists should do after at least 4-6 albums of original material, put out all the songs that were both a hit on the radio and with fans. There were a few B-list songs that didn't make the album, but we will look forward to Volume II. Though for now Mr. Gary Allan-Bonds, you have hit this one out of the park. A Lanz/Speer & Miramar StateI bought both of Lanz/Speer's albums that these videos were made from, and would highly recommend to fans of both artists. Bad Company 10 From 6 (1985)
20 years since 10 to 6 !Everyone should encourage Paul & The Boys to put out a new "Best Of", which should include the songs mentioned in 3 of the reviews by: gferrin, johnzokas & np; but also include the hits or popular songs off the 90's albums without Paul on vocals. This would not only be good for them, but by listening to the fans, it will please them as well. Please no accoustic, live or other versions, just the album versions/radio versions will be fine. Faith Hill Fireflies (2005)
Fire-flies but not far !From what I can see so far she has 4 hits out of 14 tracks, not a good ratio. As for her "Hits" coming out this summer, it is a "Poor Money-Making Drag Her Feet" sampling. Nothing like what her husband has done by putting out a Greatest Hits-Vol. I & II, which shows more respect towards the fans waiting for exactly that after she has put out 6 albums. My list is as follows: Take Me As I Am, Wild One, Piece Of My Heart, Let's Go To Vegas, It Matters To Me, You Can't Lose Me, I Can't Do That Anymore, Bed Of Roses, Breathe, Let's Make Love, The Way You Love Me, If My Heart Had Wings, This Kiss, Let Me-Let Go, The Secret Of Life, Just To Hear You Say-You Love Me, There You'll Be, Somewhere Down The Road, Over The Rainbow, Mississippi Girl, Sunshine & Summertime, Like We Never Loved At All, The Lucky One, Cry, When The Lights Go Down. 25 Hits and counting, why not put out "The Hits" package with live music later and give the fans what they want NOW!
