Leslie West Unusual Suspects (2011) Top Seller
Leslie rejuvenatedSeems like Leslie was rejuvenated with the special players joining him....his vocie sounds really good on a couple of them...the guitars are really crisp of all the differnet players....and the Billy Gibbons/Leslie West pairing is a dream come true and a good song although Billy only adds a growl/howl vocally..it would have been nice to hear him sing a few lines....all in all though the record sounds good and refreshing in todays market..... Warren Haynes Man in Motion (2011) Top Seller
pretty good so farso far its been pretty good.....I don't usually comment until I hear it many times but have not....but what I have heard has been impressive....seems like lots of instruments especially the saxaphone...and when you think each song is going to end they go on for like 3 minutes more with some cool jams....Warrens voice sounds real good....
can[t wait to listen to it again and get to know it better...

Jeff Beck Jeff Beck's Rock 'N' Roll Party: Honoring Les Paul (2011) Top Seller
Good stuff....I was skeptical at first...but my friend of 35 years said it had some "jaw dropping" moments so I got it based on that. It starts off average but gets better with every song and builds to the "sand" song which is worth the price of the cd alone. On the Train song it sounds like Jeff doing his Billy G. imitation a little bit which is really cool hearing what I call squawking. Imelda, and even the other guy, are really good too.
I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth it. Submitted by a reviewer (Severn, Maryland) 4/24/2011

Mountain Masters of War (2007) Top Seller
Digipak
Most interestingI rarely write reviews but had to for this one. Picture Leslie singing "Like a Rolling Stone" with only drums as instruments. Or singing one of the ballads with just a piano. Or even stranger..pairing up Leslie with Ozzy, one of the least predictable pairings I would have thought of. But I think it works.
The only thing that makes this close to Dylan songs though are the lyrics. Some of the songs are totally reworked and you would never know its a Dylan song unless you knew the lyrics....So, I do like it but it takes some getting used to. I am not sure what makes this a Mountain album versus a Leslie West album either...I don't know how that decision is made but it seems to me more of a Leslie album than Mountain. Whatever, it still beats most of the other stuff out there, especially Gotta Serve Somebody. Submitted by a reviewer (Boogieville, Maryland, USA) 10/7/2007

Mountain Eruption (2004)
Live Recording
Crossroads alone is worth the price of these disksThis is good stuff. And pleny of it. With the two hiddentracks, Stormy Monday with Felix, and the other one, it clocks in at 130 minutes. Thats alot of Leslie/Corky.
And the jam. Croosroads is great, and many of the others. A nice live version of Why Dontcha finally. Nantucket runs through alot of rock and roll classics, pretty cool.
