Passion and strengthSaw this movie on multiple occasions. This is such an important and thoughtful piece that demonstrates the passion, strength and diligence that people need to make a constructive change in life. Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and the entire cast are fabulous. It was interesting to observe how the lighting and colors in the background scenery noticibly changed in accordance to each character. I highly recommend this thoughful, and thought-provoking, film.

DELIGHTFULThis album is not just a reworking of tired, worn songs by Neil Diamond. My ear were delighted to hear songs sung from the heart. Each song still sounds fresh and new. A wonderful collection!

 SADLY DISSAPPOINTEDThough I thought some of the arrangements were, at times, interesting, overall I was so dissappointed. I didn't enjoy listening to the quality of Carly's voice. It left me with the impression that a lot of unnecessary vocals were added to make each track more "interesting". Made me shake my head in disbelief. I particularily did not like the remakes of "It Happens Everyday" and "Boys in the Trees". For me, they really lacked in feeling. If Carly puts out another album, I hope it will be another one of standards with lush production, which so suits her distinctive voice.
