There’s even a historical mode that allows you to tap into classic games of yesteryear, featuring teams that date back to 1967. Hard-hitting NFL simulation returns with this detailed football extravaganza from Iguana. Iguana has tossed in some surprise stadiums (the Rose Bowl and Aloha Stadium among them), and included 250 new player animations. With full licenses from the NFL and its athletes, the game has all 31 NFL teams and 1500 players, plus perfect replication of logos and stadiums. As was the case with the ’98 installment, you can play an individual game or a full season, but this version actually lets your players develop their skills over the course of the whole year. The same folks that brought you TUROK and NFL QUARTERBACK CLUB ’98 have returned to the gridiron, and have brought with them improved graphics, artificial intelligence, and play options. ESPN’s Mike Patrick and Randy Cross are in the booth, and Brett Favre has returned to add his insight into the development of the gameplay. The addition of six NFL Europe teams mixes things up as well.

A refreshing take on the traditional action game, WINBACK requires as much stealth and strategy as it does reflexes and use of weaponry. As Jean-Luc, a covert operative working for the Strategic Covert Actions Team, you are responsible for taking back a Lions-controlled base and regaining power of the satellite. Some of the weapons you'll have to acquire and use to defeat the terrorists are handguns, shotguns, and machine guns, though you'll also need to access such materials as explosives, detectors, flashlights, and medical kits in order to succeed. The game features six different multiplayer modes, supporting up to four players: Death Match, Lethal Tag, Quick Draw, Cube Hunt, Team Battle, and Point Match. A terrorist group calling itself the Crying Lions is about to take over the world with its mighty satellite, and Jean-Luc Cougar is the only one who can stop it.
