After destroying suburbia and then the world, one would think Calypso's Twisted Metal driving/combat tournament would have ended. As brainchild of the charred face lunatic, the tournament is a collection of assorted psychopaths and oddball characters engaged in a fierce competition; they hop in their own whacked out vehicles and annihilate each other until there's one man standing. Whoever wins the tournament meets Calypso face to face and their wildest fantasy or wish is granted.
Using an all new TruPhysics engine, Twisted Metal III is the third installment in this vehicular shooter series; Singletrac has given the development reigns to 989 Studios. Players can choose from fourteen different cars and drivers including new characters and older fan-favorites. Among the old characters is Mr. Grimm, an undead motorcycle racer addicted to souls and Axel, whose arms were attached to two monster truck wheels; the new characters include Flower Power, a neo-hippie and environmentalist and Firestarter, who oddly enough resembles Keith Flint from the dance-rockers Prodigy.
In addition to each vehicle's array of special weapons and advanced attacks, special items and weapons can be found within each arena. The standard missiles, homing missiles, napalm blasts, and ricochet bombs have been included as well as items specific to arenas, such as the UFO in Hangar 18 and the radar dish in Tokyo. Health and turbo items can also be collected.
Twisted Metal III features two gameplay options, tournament and deathmatch. In the up-to-four-player deathmatch mode, players choose an arena of their liking plus up to seven computer-controlled opponents. The tournament is the actual game in which players choose a driver and set out to meet Calypso. There are 10 new combat arenas including Washington, D.C., Egypt, Hollywood, and the North Pole.
awsom the best of all twisted metals Submitted by joe (littleton, IA USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
How to play carefully Playing this game means characters, each character performs different, playing as minion makes everything easy with his incredibly high stats.but getting upside down all the time is incredibly annoying and gets boring fast.It will get boring very fast if you pick a car with sluggish handling, try to use control with these cars because you'll end up to quit and never playing this game again. The car with the worst handling in the game is darkside(not unlockable for now but I won't jump into any cunclusions),using sweethooth could give you a headache also if your not careful. The car with the ultimate stats is primeval(again,i won't jump into conclusions),your guy is spectre if you like handling. For begginers, the car for them should be roadkill,he has average stats. by and far, heads above the rest This was by and far the best of the entire TM franchis. TM4 had some nice touches(customiseable cars, more weapons), but lacked the intuitive controls of TM3 as well as its smashing soundtrack.
This games controls are nice and tight, giving even novice players a chance to fare well, and the game boasts fairly intelligent AI, both as enemies, and allies. A decent variety of weapons, characters, and boards(along with the trendiest soundtrack i've heard in psone game, EVER) make this the Twisted Metal to beat all others.

Twisted Metal 3 The Car Combat is way to easy from the original. You also spend most of your time upside down. The lava and the bottomless pit are good ideas though Submitted by Scott (Minn) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
One of the best Twisted metal 3 is like u really playing in your car. When you're capsized...it takes time to switch back. But on twisted metal 4....the game is like too fake and fast. Submitted by Ariff (Bedok reservoir view,Singapore) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

Twisted Metal 3 Cheats Do you like playing as the "bad guys"? Do you enjoy controlling characters from a movie who cause agony and suffering for the protagonists? Well, if you're looking for some all-out carnage and destruction, try feeding on Warpath: Jurassic Park for the PlayStation. Now you can control all of those scaly, angry, and ferocious dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World movies. You will now truly find who can hold the title, "King of the Thunderlizards."
Within 3D arenas you will be able to claw and mangle your dinosaur opponents with your tail, claws, jaws, and teeth. Execute devastating combos and grappling moves that will cause your foe to writhe in pain and gasp for its final breath. Each of the 14 unique dinosaurs has different abilities as well. Watch in awe as the brutal T-Rex devours and crushes its opponent with raw power and strength. Although the Raptor is quick, its deadly slashes teamed with razor sharp claws may prove to be just as effective.
Not content with destroying your foe by force? How about using the arena to your advantage? Electrified fences, crates, fires, buildings, and structures. Any one of these and more can be used, manipulated, and harnessed to cause your enemy havoc during a battle. Speaking of arenas, there are over ten of them for you to compete in. Each location is modeled after a specific scene in either Jurassic Park or The Lost World. Some notable locales include a Raptor pen, a transport vessel, and the Jurassic Park gates.
You can also dictate the difficulty and type of mode you will compete in. Arcade, practice, team battles and two-player confrontations; it's all here. There is also a museum where you can view any of the game's dinosaurs and see how they fight, live, and move, and also what their strengths and weaknesses are. And a thematic musical score that syncs with all the action orchestrates the game.
Only the strong survive and the rest will join their predecessors as fossils in the ground in Warpath!
While playing Warpath Jurassic Park you will enjoy Flesh ripping claws, bone crushing jaws along with head to head Jurassic combat!
