Playstation 2 WWE Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain (PS2)

The fifth installment of the hugely popular Yuke's-developed PSOne/PS2-exclusive wrestling series, Here Comes the Pain adds several new modes and features. Play as your favorite WWE wrestler, or create your own Superstar and take them through story modes created by the real WWE staff writers. Build up Superstar abilities, and unlock hidden elements by earning money.

Improved controls add to the action, and a new countering and interactive submission system takes the pain to a whole new level. New match types such as First Blood, Bra and Panty, and Elimination Chamber, along with improved audio, Superstar voiceovers, dynamic camera transitions, and more-realistic animations make the fifth Smackdown! a force to be reckoned with.

X-button: striking attack
square-button: pick up weapon or object
L2-button: counter striking attack
R2-button: counter grapple attack
start-button: pause
right analog stick or R3-button held down: taunt.

When you are at Rebellion, look closely at the fist that has the letters spelling out Rebellion. If you wait a little, and look quickly enough, you will see the WWF logo appear, not WWE.

 TIME TO EAT CANVAS
I bought the PS2 for the exact purpose to play HCTP and boy it does not disapoint.Over 55 WWE super Stars a dozen or so match types, arenas and the create a wrestler mode. The likeness for some of the Wrestlers are better than others but there trademark moves are there right down to their ring entrance. The CAW has a ridicules amount of ways to alter you wrestlers appearance that you can spend hours on just Creating your wrestler.Bottem line if you watch WWE programing get this game. The only reason I gave it just 4 stars is that they did not have some of the wrestlers on the roster but only diehard WWE fans are going to notice.

 Here Comes The Pain!!!
This games is the best hands down. Last year wwe bought shut your mouth 2 tha table and it did well as the other wrestling titles but coming up now iz here comes the pain which iz tha best game probably of 2 double O3!!!

this game is definitely the best wwe game in the world today! nuff said! smackdown vs. raw 2006 was even no match for this one!

wwe games are so fun. this game is one of the best wwe games i ever played. if you like this game then get smackdown vs raw 2006 if you want to have real fun.
