Coming ten years after the groundbreaking original, Doom 3 continues id Software's first-person shooter series with a true 3D engine featuring bump-map texturing and enhanced lighting and shadow effects. Doom 3 game Players will revisit the setting introduced in 1993's Doom but with a more involved storyline written by sci-fi scribe Matthew Costello (of 7th Guest and The 11th Hour fame).
The result is a more cinematic experience than in games past, with elements of horror interwoven with the action to create a sense of tension. Shadows sometimes appear a split second before enemies attack, creatures materialize in the reflections of mirrors, and monsters can break through walls. Certain classic enemies have also been upgraded, such as the imps, which now stare players down with glaring eyes before pouncing on them..
Dark action scary game This game is very dark can't see a thing and when the monsters pop out and get you, you get scared very good. Fun game its not like the other older doom games the older doom games you enter one room and start shooting 30 monsters in this game its a little different you don't have 30 monsters in this game you enter one room mostly two or three you get to know the monsters personally but it mostly is a one on one fight with big cool looking monsters. Fun exciting game. The last monster is a giant titan called the Cyber Demon in the end is one tough fight and he is huge don't get hit once it's instant death but this is my favorite fight in the game. By corcorantom

Excellent!!!!! This game has the best graphics i've seen so far, and great gameplay. I would reccomend this game to anyone. and DON'T use cheats you'll get bored. Just save alot. By Spider_10c
