Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Hints Even when you run out of Light/Dark Beam ammo, you can still use it. Set your gun to Light/Dark Beam (when you've run out of ammo Light/Dark Beam ammo), Charge it (with Charge Beam) and release. It will be a normal Light/Dark Beam shot, not a charged one, even though you have no ammo. This can be done infinitely.
