Playstation Nascar 2005: Chase For The Cup (PS2)

Last year, the NASCAR franchise witnessed a rebirth with the addition of grudges and alliances. In NASCAR Thunder 2005, EA Sports takes the sportsmanship, or lack there of, one step further with post-race altercations -- complications off the track even affect the next race and could have further implications on your career. To add to the tension, drivers will also now be able to use an intimidation button while drafting to ride close to opponent's bumpers and attempt to force them out of the way. Other features for 2005 include a Career mode with ether driver or driver/owner paths as well as comples fan-loyalty implications, a total of 13 road courses (including 9 new tracks,) minigames in the NASCAR Speed Zone, and improvements to the graphics and audio for an even more realistic NASCAR experience.

Become a superstar owner or driver and decide where and how you want to race; Develop essential racing skills, increase fan support, and compete in three new racing series, as you become the driver that top NASCAR teams are looking for; the first and only game to feature the new NASCAR point system; This 10-race championship shootout is available in both fight to the top mode as well as its own stand-alone game mode; make your driver a hero or a villain; Force mistakes with the new intimidation button or flatten competitors' tires by rubbing fenders; Rivalries even spill off the track with post-race confrontations; NASCAR 2005: chase for the cup expands its racing field with the addition of the NASCAR busch series, NASCAR craftsman truck series, and featherlite modified series; Opportunities present themselves on all levels- you're is a few wins away from hittin' the main show: the Nextel cup series.

One of the most realistic games I have ever played. Setting up a car or truck, tight here, loose there, mess with the tire pressure, qualifying, happy hour, all of this game is awesome, just wish you could really fight somebody.

 NASCAR ROCKS!!!
Had all the ps1 versions,but ps2 versions are way cooool!this is serious racing, with definite attitude!Graphics are fantastic.wipe outs are fun to watch.you gotta get this one!

 The greatest game I have played
Im a huge NASCAR fan, And this is the greatest game i have ever played, its so realistic and it is just awesome.

 The game is good, but it needs improvement
The reason why I say it needs improvement is there is something wrong with the drafting for Talledega and Daytona. The cars spread out the whole race track for long of short races. The person who thought of the game should fix those two tracks up and make the two races tighter, like on TV. the race is nothing like the race in real life on both tracks.

 super, but
i think nascar 2005 is a super game,but its missing some key things like pocono raceway and drivers like jeremy mayfield and ken schrader.the addition of the truck and busch series is really great,but the flaw about it is the stupid fantisy racers.kick as soundtrack and a awesome racing game.
