Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, Patapon is a rhythm-based 2D platform/action game exclusively for the PSP. In the game, players are tasked with leading the colorful Patapons, a brave and noble tribe, through a series of epic battles against opposing armies and gigantic monsters. In a distinct gameplay twist, action and rhythm are intertwined as players utilize drumbeats to march, attack, and defend, ultimately leading the Patapon tribe to victory. Featuring more than 20 missions in a variety of environments such as swamps, volcanos, gorges and deserts, players will outfit a Patapon army, collect resources, and grow their tribe into a devastating fighting force. Excellent rhythmic gaming experience. Makes you hum the tunes while away from the game. Simple to learn, but challenging enough to keep you interrested. The price is low, so it's a must for any PSP owner.

Patapon is like a drug that you can't avoid taking... The songs are very catchy and the gameplay is the best since Locoroco. I recomend for anyone looking for a casual and fun game!

Patapon reminds me a lot of locoroco...wait but in a positive way,this is one of the most original games out there,the king of games we player keep bragging about and than end up not buying them,if you are tired of FPS,RPG and sport games you should consider this game just cause is something completely original and stylish,graphics,sound and gameplay are fused together like in locoroco but i repeat myself is a completely individual game by itself.A must.A 5 stars out of 5!
