 lame
not up to much. i am a big pam grier fan & admirer but this film was way below my expectations. poor story and useless acting (pam tries her best with an inferior script). the whole thing seems disjointed. i can't see why it got such a cult reputation? left me cold.

 Foxy for real
As a huge fan of Pam Grier, it breaks my heart to say that "Foxy Brown" is appalling. The movie features the strong, independent, intelligent protagonist getting raped and dragged by the villains. Although she regains control over the situation, it is done at a huge cost. The movie lacks emotion and the character Foxy is nothing but a sex object in the entire movie. The quality of the film is pretty good and the fight scenes are okay. The best part is when she meets up with the "brothers" from the Panther movement, and they all come together to seek justice. If you are a Pam Grier fan, buy the dvd for your collection, but it is not the best work i have seen. Excellent soundtrack!!!

 Pam Grier at her best!
Foxy Brown is one of the best action packed Pam movies of them all. You go girl.
