Closed Captioned; Colorized; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Director's Comments; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re Set against the gritty urban scenescape of Berlin and a pounding techno soundtrack, RUN LOLA RUN is a frenetic, ... Full Descriptioninventive existential thriller that explores the life-altering impact of seemingly inconsequential actions. Beautiful, hip, and young, poor Lola has but 20 minutes to locate a missing bag containing 100,000 Deutsche marks or come up with the money some other way--if she can't, gangsters are going to kill her boyfriend. A pulse-raising race against time, the film employs a startling array of innovative techniques to present three separate scenarios, all departing from a single split-second decision Lola makes. Franka Potente, who also sings on the soundtrack, is mesmerizing as Lola. Winner of the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival; Best Film, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director at the German Film Awards; 1998 Bambi Award; and the Golden Space Needle Award for Best Film at the Seattle International Film Festival.Theatrical Release Date: June 18, 1999 Run Lola Run Reviews: "...It's an exercise in kinetic energy, a film of nonstop motion and visual invention..."

$24.45 "The Great Beyond" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.
As 1999 closed out, the genius of anarchist comedian Andy Kaufman came to light in a Milos Forman film named for an early '90s R.E.M. SONG that was a tribute to the late entertainer. Fittingly, the Athens, GA group was brought in to compose the score. Like the quirky comic, the soundtrack to his life story is an unconventional collection of songs. Aural landmarks include the previously released title track, the Sandpipers' ...

"What A Girl Wants" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Christina Aguilera rocketed to the top of the charts with the smash hit "Genie in a Bottle" from this self-titled debut and placed herself among a leading generation of young, multi-talented pop artists. Like fellow performers Britney Spears, J.C. and Justin of 'N Sync, and actress Keri Russell, who stars in the TV show Felicity, Aguilera is a graduate of the New Mickey Mouse Club television program.
Songs such as "What a Girl Wants" with its guitar-driven melody, and the soulful gospel strain of "So Emotional" show Christina Aguilera's polish. Some of the other tracks that stand out are the powerful "I Turn to You," which was written ...
