In my opinion Heavy Metal 2000; was not remotely as good as the first Heavy Metal movie. In terms of animation and storyline. The makers of this film should be embarassed about this sequel. It does appeared that the same amount of passion and effort was put into the making of Heavy Metal 2000 as the first film.
