Dressed in three-piece suits and glasses, Tango (Sylvester Stallone) is the suave policeman; in his nine-dollar shirts and jeans, Cash (Kurt Russell) is Tango's salt-of-the-earth rival on the force. Each has spent his days and nights cracking down on drug dealers, to the fury of crime boss Yves Perret (Jack Palance). When Perret and his gang frame the two cops and have them sent to prison, it turns out that Tango and Cash don't get along any better behind bars than they did in the station house (they trade insults, and protest having to shower together). But when the ruling underground goons of the penitentiary torture them, Tango and Cash join forces to overthrow the prison menace, and, in the process, escape. Once free, they pursue Perret and attempt to destroy his cartel for good--that is, when Cash isn't busy romancing Tango's sister, Kiki (Teri Hatcher), further straining the pair's already tense working partnership. Atypically directed by Russian filmmaker Andrei Konchalovsky (collaborator with arthouse cinema legend Andrei Tarkovsky and older brother of director Nikita Mikhalkov), TANGO & CASH remains one of the unsung action-comedy buddy films of the 1980s. Albert Magnoli completed the directing chores of this film, after Andrei Konchalovsky left the film.

Tango & Cash Movie Review Average Rating: (4.2 out of 5 stars) THE BEST STALLONE MOVIE EVER SYLVESTER STALLONE AND KURT RUSSELL TOGETHER ARE LIKE KETCHUP AND MUSTARD THIS MOVIE ROCKS. Submitted by BLYTHEFAMILY5 (franklin va) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great 80's action movie Tango & Cash was great. I really enjoyed it. Lots of action all the way through. Submitted by Todd (Acton, ON) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
BRILLIANT CONCEPT BUT FLAWED EXECUTION The idea of bringing Stallone and Russell together was nothing short of brilliant. The concept of the movie is excellent, but the direction is not upto the mark. A good director like Walter Hill or Richard Donner would have turned this film into a cinematic gem. However it is still a collector's delight and strictly for fans of the two lead stars. Submitted by ansvar (denver, colorado) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
The Best! I love this movie, this is one of my favorites. Its Great!! Submitted by Bettyf (CA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Action At It's Best! This is one of the best movies I have ever seen because I love action, comedy and an interesting story. Sylvester Stallone gives a great performance doing what he does best, a tough cop doing a tough job. Kurt Russell brings nothing but great action, comedy and a vein popping on sly's forehead. The two of them fight together...and each other to be top cop and catch the criminal mastermind that set them up. I never thought that two huge action stars like them would ever do a movie together, but it works. Actually, the big screen almost can't hold them both, it's ready for an explosion. This movie is worth the watch, you'll thank me. Movies for guys who like movies! Submitted by a reviewer (Montclair, NJ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$6.25 Brutal and hard but exciting and surprisingly melodic, DIRT made Alice In Chains national stars in 1992 after being around the Seattle alternative rock scene for many years. They produce a blindingly together sound, with the bass of Mike Starr able to switch between following the bass drum beat and cloning Jerry Cantrell's guitar note for note, albeit a few octaves lower. ...

$10.29 In M. Night Shyamalan's THE SIXTH SENSE, Bruce Willis plays Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a successful Philadelphia child psychologist who is haunted by the sudden reappearance and suicide of a former patient. Months later Dr. Crowe encounters Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a troubled, withdrawn young boy who bears a striking similarity to his earlier patient. Dr. Crowe is compelled to help Cole, not only for the boy's sake, but for his own redemption. As Dr. Crowe struggles to determine what torments Cole, he must also come to terms with his increasingly distant relationship to his wife (Olivia Williams). Meanwhile, Cole is unable to describe the horrible things he sees even to his worried mother (Toni Collette). The scene where Cole finally tells Dr. Crowe about his supernatural secret is one of the 1990s most quoted and well-known cinematic moments.
A gripping ghost story with a stunning finale, THE SIXTH SENSE became a surprise blockbuster shortly ...

$8.99 Drummer Matt McDonough and bassist Ryan Martinie play as if they are the same person, tossing off impossibly complex lock-step riffs ("Determined," "Just") like most bands hit an open E chord. On "Happy?" and "Fall into Sleep," singer Chad Gray moves from a throat-shredding rasp to sweet melodicism at the drop of a hat, taking angst-filled lyrics to new heights of dark obsession. Luckily, despite the inherent negativity of Gray's words, the seemingly boundless energy and impressive musicianship of LOST AND FOUND make for an uplifting listening experience.
While some of its rap-metal contemporaries ...
