Frankie's been unjustly fired from her bank-teller job. Stony's brother was wrongly killed by the police. A misunderstanding results in Tisean's baby being taken from her. Cleo just wants to get out of the 'hood. These are the desperate situations ... Full Descriptionof four female best friends, who jointly take a drastic measure to improve their lives...
The women decide to rob a bank, an experience that gives them an emotional rush in addition to easy money. Hooked, the quartet continue (and escalate) their crime sprees, attracting the attention of the authorities. As a result, the foursome learn a violent -- and tragic -- version of the adage "crime does not pay."
After a lifetime of being exploited by unscrupulous employers, pushed around by sleazy boyfriends, persecuted by the police, and unable to escape from the undertow of ghetto life by socially approved means, a quartet of Angelina women arm themselves to the teeth and bust up banks in this provocative and intriguing social drama. Released theatrically in USA November 6, 1996.

Desperate searching I'm sorry, the headline obove is not talk about the movie. The movie it self is very-very and very exciting. It's unfair justice, emotional situation, escaping from cops, have lot of money at the end but loose all friend etc. I agree if somebody says that it's hard to make movie to competite this movie. I was buy the (sorry) piracy version 3 years ago. I turn it again, again and again until it discs are damage. I love this movie very much. That's why everytime I make a trip to Jakarta or other big city at Java Island I come to all Movie Shops (until now) I ask wether there available this movie. But I had't have it so far. I'm so desperate. I work at State-own Company. I have money. I don't like credit cards. Tha's why I can't buy from internet. Can somebody help me ? I mean, can I have a new DVD of this movie, sent by fed-ex after I pay ? How should I pay ? (electronic way, from bank to bank, preffered) thanks. This Movie Envokes Pure Emotion! I love this movie and rate it 5 stars. The characters are brought to life in such a way that I could feel the pain they go through, and the joy of accomplishing something to better their situation. Superb acting by Queen Latifa and Jada Smith. This is a "must have" for anyone's collection of great movies with a strong message. Submitted by Solomon (Brentwood, TN, USA) Was This Review Helpful? $25.55 High school romance is difficult enough to navigate when both people are human. But for 17-year-old Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart, INTO THE WILD) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE), Edward's life as a vampire complicates things even more. At first, when Bella moves from sunny Phoenix to the rainiest corner of Washington State, she isn't sure where she fits in at her new high school. Then she meets Edward, an ethereal beauty of a boy whose unnatural speed and strength lead Bella to the conclusion that her new crush is one of the undead. Suddenly, Bella's boring life is transformed; she's surrounded by love and danger in equal parts, thanks to the hunger of Edward and others of his kind.
TWILIGHT is based on the first book in the addictive series by author Stephenie Meyer. Director Catherine Hardwicke (THIRTEEN) certainly knows her audience, which ...

$17.59 From his current post in Antarctica, British glaciologist Matt (Kieran O'Brien), recalls how he met Lisa (Margo Stilley), a 21-year-old American student. They were at a rock concert at London's Brixton Academy, and he took her back to his apartment for sex. This began a brief relationship, which is revealed as Matt remembers and comments on its milestones--mainly the other concerts they attended and their significant sexual experiences--before their initial sexual attraction waned and they were forced to part.
The titular nine songs are comprised of concert performances by 1) Primal Scream, 2) Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, 3) Elbow, 4) Michael Nyman, 5) Super Furry Animals, 6) The Dandy Warhols, 7) Von Bondies, 8) Black Rebel Motorcycle Club again, and 9) Franz Ferdinand. Shot on often-blurry, ...
