Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re; Behind The Scenes Melanie Griffith, Demi Moore, Rosie O’Donnell, and Rita Wilson star as adults who have been friends since childhood in this nostalgic dramedy. The four women reunite when one of them is about to give birth. This gives them the chance to reminisce about the summer of 1970, a time when they first experienced puppy love, shared girlish secrets, discussed sex and boys, battled bullies, and attempted to solve a murder mystery. The strong bonds these young women forged back then endured despite the passing years and their different fates. Now they have the chance to reaffirm that powerful friendship on a joyous, special occasion. Christina Ricci, Thora Birch, Gaby Hoffman, and Ashleigh Ashton Moore earn most of the screen time as the younger version of the adult women. Released theatrically in the USA October 20, 1995.

Now And Then Movie Review Average Rating: (3.7 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews a really good movie just like stand by me but better a 90's flim about 4 friends this is a really great movie Submitted by meggie (Reserve LA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
5 Stars. . . WHAT A LIE!!! That film was a peice of crap and anyone who has seen it should agree!!!
Any good film about an emotional change would have killed off Samanthat in the scene where she was trapped in the sewers. How convieniant is it that "Crazy Pete" can pull off a manhole cover without a crowbar, in the rain, i mean hes like 80 years old.
This Film does not deserve even the one star ive given it. i would give at least 2 starts to even a 10 second film on Youtube about diet coke and mentos...for shame taht u would give 5 stars Submitted by cheapinc (brown town ontario canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

The ultimate film for friendship. A coming-of-age film like no other, Now and Then is one of the greatest movies of our time. Although left unrecognized by most, Now and Then deserves at the least a website, let alone an award, both of which it has failed to receive.
My cousin and I can't help but recite every word to the film when we watch it almost every weekend. It's truly a great movie.

my favorite childhood movie I watched this movie with my friends all the time when we were young. We actually recited the phrase "All for one and one for all" that was in the movie all the time. In the movie they were a bunch of girls...best friends...dealing with all the same issues that we went through. The cast is excellent!!! Demi Moore, Christina Ricci, Thora Birch, etc...it goes on and on. I believe you learn the true value of friendship and believe me...you will never forget this movie once you've seen it. My friends and I still talk about it and we're now 18 and in college. Definately see the movie!!! Submitted by Socrchick179 (Anaheim Hills, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$10.05 Bobby Kent (Nick Stahl) is not a nice guy. He beats up his "best friend" Marty every chance he gets, he abuses Marty's girlfriend Lisa, and he rapes Lisa's friend Ali. From director Larry Clark (KIDS) and screenwriter David McKenna (AMERICAN HISTORY X) comes this gruelling thriller based on the true story of Bobby Kent, a bossy Florida teenager who was beaten to death by a group of his peers.
There isn't a lot to do in the suburban Florida town that Bobby and his "friends" inhabit. They play violent shoot-em-up video games, they work at the Pizza Hut, they go surfing at the beach, and they cruise in their hot rods. But mostly, Bobby and his friends have lots of sex. The film is drenched in graphic shots of barely legal naked teenagers. (This has been Clark's favorite subject matter since his days as a photographer, as illustrated in his 1997 book TEENAGE LUST.) Sexual identity is an undercurrent in Bobby's story: he watches gay porn while he rapes Ali, and he forces Marty to dance with him at a gay club. Some of the other teenagers think that Bobby and Marty are a couple. But this is a minor issue. They decide to kill Bobby because he's a bully who has hurt and angered them; and because they're bored and desensitized to violence. In BULLY, Clark provides another hard look at the hard lives of American teenagers, ...

$10.29 In the sharply funny LEGALLY BLONDE, Reese Witherspoon gives a glittering performance as Elle Woods, the natural blonde sorority queen who enrolls at Harvard Law School. When she first appears, Elle seems to be no more than the bright cousin of CLUELESS's Alicia Silverstone. Expecting her boyfriend Warner Huntington III (Matthew Davis) to propose, she is mortified when instead he says he needs somebody serious as his wife. When Elle discovers Warner's brother is engaged to a law student, she decides to go to Harvard. She studies for the LSATs, submits a video essay--in which she appears in a sequined bikini--and, miraculously, ...

$31.25 Zampano (Anthony Quinn), a performer in a traveling carnival outside of Rome, purchases the young, poor Gelsomina (Giulietta Masina) to be his wife and assistant. Although she shows genuine enthusiasm as an assistant, putting on a fabulous clown act akin to Charlie Chaplin, nobody seems to appreciate her; she quietly endures a life of emotional coldness and cruelty. When she meets "The Fool," Ilmatto (Richard Basehart), a quicksilver trapeze artist who befriends her and offers her warmth, kindness, and an uplifting vision of the world, Gelsomina convinces herself that she and Zampano are in love. She is plunged into despair, however, after Zampano interferes in a jealous rage, precipitating a tragedy that will haunt him forever. Federico Fellini establishes a style and certain key themes in this film that he repeats as trademarks in subsequent films: the beach as a symbol of purity and release; haunting, soft female singing as a symbol of memory; examinations of Catholics and their religion as a cult behavior; and, above all, a chaotic, ...

$9.69 In this sequel to DAREDEVIL, the Marvel Comic series is drawn upon once again to present the mysterious and powerful character of Elektra (Jennifer Garner), a professional assassin with special skills. Clad in a red suit, she relies on her mental acuity, which allows her to see a short distance into the future. With this talent she can stalk her victims and kill them before they are even aware of her presence. She is cold and introspective to a fault, shunning all human contact in favor of meditating on her powers. Even so, she is haunted by the memories of her youth, when as a small girl she witnessed her mother's brutal murder by a mysterious horned enemy. When a mission leads her to a father and daughter, Mark (Goran Visnjic) and Abby (Kirsten Prout), something deep inside her causes her to abort the assassination. But before she knows it, a team of the highly dangerous ninja experts called the Hand are sent to take out Mark and Abby themselves. ...
