Monica (Sanaa Lathan) and Quincy (Omar Epps) have wanted to be basketball stars since they were kids. Monica has had to work hard to establish herself as a presence, while Quincy was born with natural star potential. As the two struggle to reach their goals of playing professionally, they must also deal with their feelings for each other.

best love story ever
Loved it the first time I saw it. Watch it continuously without getting sick of it ever!! Sanaa Lathan is definitely doin her thing on this and I would have to say its her best movie. Soundtrack is awesome, Omar is hot and for once Gabrielle union isn't all that!!Definitely a must see if you're from that era and into romance

Sanaa Lathan hasn't been around long, like some of these actresses; and she has already made a name for herself. In this film, her character is the best because she had so much ambition and dtermination to become a basketball star. Omar and Lathan love scenes become more dramatic when they finally come together as a couple. Debbi Morgan with those deep dimples, was good. I remember watching her on the Young and the Restless.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH THAT I WATCH IT OVER AND OVER THAT MY MOM HAD TO HIDE THE TAPE I CRY ALL THE TIME THE MAXWELL SONG PLAYS THIS MOVIE IS A CUTE LOVE STORY WITH A SPICE OF COMEDY

The prophetically named Johnny Blaze and his father perform death-defying stunts in a carnival, but the real danger to his dad's life is the cancer growing within his dying body.
