A quartet of siblings spend a good part of their formative years imprisoned in their grandmother's attic while their greedy mother campaigns for their grandfather's considerable wealth. In this film adaptation of author V.C. Andrews' bestselling novel, dreams of an inheritance turn into a nightmare for four innocent children left fatherless by a tragic accident. Flowers In The Attic Video Flowers In The Attic Movie Review Average Rating: (3.7 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews A provokative and ontversial touchingmovie! I would not consider this to be an extreme violent to bloody gore slasher horror flick. It's more like a sentimental gothic adaptive kind of a dramatic tale story. Which this movie Flowers In The Attic it's called that only have it on VHS not DVD. Is based on V.C. Andrews the author of this best selling novel book about these four children who end up locked inside this mansion house from their evil wicked grandmother. So for days and weeks while the kids are locked in their bedroom. The mother leaves them and is suppose to be a caretaker to her ill father. The children suffer through this developed starvation mysterious disease and the one little boy dies. By eating a infected poisoned cookie that a creatured mouse who died ate that cookie also before the little boy did too. And the only three Children are left to survive which at the end of the movie they finally walk to escape free into the distant field of grass. For you adult guys out their who dig sexy hot woman chicks in nude scenes from a movie. Then check out Kristy Swanson in here because there's a scene where she takes off her clothes in the children's bedroom area. While Kristy Swanson is talking to her big brother. She's in the bathroom
and has on her bra. And also wearing panties as a sexual content included for a PG-13 not a restricted R rating flick. Which I think that is a RRRRRROWW!! and a SSSSSSS! for sexy babe like Kristy Swanson for sure.. Submitted by Jason Ross (Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Flowers In The Attic film
$10.29 In Douglas Sirk's emotionally and visually extravagant final film IMITATION OF LIFE, a life's work of subverted melodrama and razor-sharp social commentary are brought to a resounding and baroque climax. In a role that closely resembles and perhaps parodies her own life, Lana Turner plays Lora Meredith, an aspiring actress and single mother who meets Annie Johnson (Juanita Moore), a black and similarly single and struggling mother. When they move in together, Annie assumes the role of domestic servant and the two women struggle together to raise their two daughters. Annie's daughter, Sarah Jane (Susan Kohner), favors her father whose skin tone resembles her own extremely light skin, and she slowly comes to resent her mother's black identity. Transcending the feminist labeling that IMITATION OF LIFE risked, the film freely mixes Meredith's ...
