This lavish small-screen adaptation of Homer's ancient epic--replete with exotic Maltese and Turkish locations, state-of-the-art special effects, and many bronzed muscles gleaming with sweat--chronicles the voyage home of a Trojan hero, Odysseus, and includes many more scenes of his faithful, beautiful wife dodging leering suitors at home than Homer ever composed. Good Representation of the Odyssey This was a very good representation of the Odyssey. There were a few area's where this story didn't quite fit the book by Homer but was quite entertaining. Submitted by Faucher63 (Pensacola, FL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Great Adventure In simple words, one of the greatest adventure movies ever made. It is long however you get so wrapped in it that time just flies by.
A GREAT movie with one of the best revenge endings ever.

$19.99 A group of hardened Nazi killers stalk their prey in Nazi-occupied France as a Jewish cinema owner plots to take down top-ranking SS officers during the official premiere of a high-profile German propaganda film. As far as Lt. Aldo Raine -- aka "Aldo the Apache" (Brad Pitt) -- is concerned, the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. Raine's mission is to strike fear into the heart of Adolf Hitler by brutally murdering as many goose-steppers as possible, or die trying. In order to accomplish that goal, Lt. Raine recruits a ruthless team of cold-blooded killers known as "The Basterds" which includes baseball-bat-wielding Bostonian Sgt. Donnie Donowitz (aka "The Bear Jew," Eli Roth) and steely psychopath Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz (Til Schweiger), among others. When the Basterds' secret rendezvous with turncoat German actress Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) goes awry, they learn that the Nazis will be staging the French premiere of "The Nation's Pride," a rousing propaganda film based on the exploits of German hero Fredrick Zoller (Daniel Brühl), at a modest theater owned by Jewish cinephile Shoshanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent), posing as a Gentile after the brutal murder of her family by the ruthless Col. Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). As the Basterds hatch an explosive plan to take out as many Nazis as possible at the premiere, they remain completely oblivious to the fact that Shoshanna, too, longs to bring the Third Reich to its knees, and that she's willing to sacrifice her beloved theater in the process.
Quentin Tarantino's long-gestating (and much anticipated) World War II epic is sure to delight fans of his artful touch with dialogue and visuals. ...

$13.59 Prolific Japanese director Takashi Miike (AUDITION) helms this frenetic action-comedy hybrid about a grown man who dresses up as a beloved superhero named "Zebraman." The fun and excitement begin when he runs across another masked man, but this character has villainy on the brain.
The year is 2010. Shinichi (Sho Aikawa) is a 2nd-rate 3rd-grade teacher who gets no respect from his family and little from his students. It seems that in 1978 he fell in love with a TV super hero named Zebraman that was canceled shortly after airing. The show was set in 2010 so this year he sews himself a makeshift Zebraman ...
