This legendary lost shocker from the director of "Zombie" and "The Beyond" was unseen for over 25 years. Fabio Testi stars as Stubby Preston, a gambler, who survives a vigilante slaughter with 3 other hard-luck strangers and escapes into the lawless frontier. Due to its graphic violence, this film was banned worldwide and never seen in America.
One of director Lucio Fulci's best spaghetti westerns, THE FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE was, like many of his films, extremely violent and therefore very controversial. Banned around the world, the film has long been available in only a heavily edited form, but, thanks to Anchor Bay, the film has been restored to its original glory. Fabio Testi stars as Stubby Preston, a suave gambler who, along with three other strangers, escape a small town prison and head out through the desert to freedom. However, when they come across a bandit named Chaco, a sadistic and torturous game begins as they try to survive the arid desert and each other.

Great western Excellent acting, excellent direction, excellent music! Lucio Fulci shows once again why he was one of the best directors ever - this is a hyper violent spaghetti western and, as almost all of his films, is not for everyone...
