A happily married New York City lawyer engages in a one-night stand while his wife and child are visiting his in-laws. When he tries to end the affair, she refuses, and initial harassment (phone calls in the middle of the night) escalates until she has terrorized the entire family. Soon the lawyer realizes it's either him or her... and he sets the stage for a final showdown.

While his wife (Anne Archer) and daughter are out of town, successful attorney Dan Gallagher (Michael Douglas) has a one-night stand with Alex Forrest (Glenn Close), the publishing executive he has just met. He has no idea what he's getting into. Immediately after the encounter, Dan wants to put the experience behind him, but Alex refuses to let go of their relationship. Driven to madness by his rejection, she turns to violently harassing both Dan and his family. This terrifying morality play, which takes the consequences of infidelity to new heights of horror, became one of 1987's biggest box-office successes. 4 stars How to turn lust into boiling bunny
If you happen to find yourself in a relationship where you answer to another and the "hotty" two offices over is giving you unexpected attention, then this may be the best eleven dollars you ever spend. Take it from a lawyer who specializes in criminal law but who has done divorces for friends, she can pay me now or you can pay me later. Although this movie probably wouln't change what you ultimately decide, don't tell me "I had no idea" if you pass on this lesson.

5 stars Spooky
Just wondering if this is the reason why the reviewer below lives in a van down by the river now?? I think Glenn Close is highly unattracive, but she is a good psyco head case! Michael Douglas plays your avaerage male DOG in this. He gets what he deserves. His wife should have thrown away the key, or changed the locks. That, or he shoud have been thrown in the pot with the rabbit!! Good film though. If you like this, you'd love Play Misty For ME!!

5 stars Wake Up Call For Anyone Married or In a Serious Relationship
Anyone who is married and has any kind of thought about fooling around behind their spouses back, this is the film to watch. It's simply a wake up call. You never really know who you are getting involved with especially if its a one night stand deal. Serious repurcussions could easily follow. Don't judge the book by the cover ladies and gentleman. I rest my case here. Watch the movie!

When two marines are charged with murdering a member of their platoon during an unsanctioned disciplinary action in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the armed forces hire a lieutenant they believe is a lightweight defense attorney. Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise) prides himself in having successfully plea-bargained every one of his 44 cases and would just as well make this one his 45th. However, ambitious internal affairs officer Lieutenant Commander Jo Ann Galloway (Demi Moore) smells a rat in the form of a hushed-up practice known as Code Red and, furious at Kaffee's halfhearted efforts, gets hired as the younger cadet's defender. Aided by Lt. Com. Galloway's prodding, Lt. Kaffee ...

Loosely based on the 1960 Rat Pack film of the same name, OCEAN'S 11 is a hi-tech crime comedy that features a top-notch cast. Con man Danny Ocean (George Clooney) has just been released from a four-year jail term and decides that his first order of business is robbing three Las Vegas casinos owned by the slimy Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia). To pull off this nearly impossible task, he quickly assembles an eclectic crew--including a card shark (Brad Pitt), a pickpocket (Matt Damon), an explosives expert (Don Cheadle), and an aging gambler (Carl Reiner)--and seeks financial backing from a freewheeling casino mogul (Elliott Gould) who holds a grudge against Benedict. However, it soon becomes apparent that Ocean has more at stake than money and his newly found freedom--his ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts), just happens to be Benedict's new girlfriend. Can Ocean steal back Tess's heart and ...
