Possibly one of the most talked about series of all time, "Faces of Death" examines the many guises of death in the extreme close-up. Sure to shock, horrify and even repulse, these brutal films are not meant for the faint of heart. Volume 1 - Features a vicious pit bull fight, the clubbing of baby seals, monkey brains, a man setting himself on fire, an electrocution, San Francisco cultists dining on human organs, a suicidal jumper taking his final leap, a visit to a slaughterhouse, an alligator attack and a visit to an autopsy room. Volume 2 - Shows guerilla death squads This stomach-turning series is sure to induce reverse peristalsis. See individual titles for details. and to think, it used to be so shocking back in the day c'mon you got to admit that the bit with the suicide bomber seperated from his legs but still alive was funny! tame though compared to whats on the internet these days.
Part 1 is CUT (mising the seance type bit from the end) also part 2 features images at the end that didn't appear in the film. Perhaps this is CUT too - does anybody know? Submitted by Wayne (Nothingham, UK) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Faces Of Death: Boxed Set review
$6.55 The Rock (aka Duane Johnson) firmly establishes himself as a major Hollywood force in THE RUNDOWN, an engaging action-comedy directed by Peter Berg. Johnson/Rock plays Beck, a retriever-for-hire, who is sent on one final mission before he can retire and realize his dream of opening up a restaurant. Trading in the cement streets of Los Angeles for the jungles of the Amazon, Beck begins his quest to locate his boss' son, Travis (Seann William Scott). When he walks into the establishment of the beautiful Mariana (Rosario Dawson), he does just that. But before he can drag Travis back to the airstrip and deliver him to his father, the evil Hatcher (Christopher Walken) arrives and reminds Beck that this is his jurisdiction. Apparently, Travis is incredibly close to locating a rare relic, and until that happens, Hatcher isn't letting Travis out of his sight. Of course, ...
