 Almost credibly authentic......!!
This movie is so well-done and so professional that you almost forget the fact that it was not based on true events of WWII!! It seems quite authentic and the air scenes are simply impressing, combined with first class acting by all performers. I am glad I did not miss it on DVD.

 better war movie.
one of the better war movies before so many special effects dominated the movie.Good cast.

 Good Action Scenes
I'm a sucker for WWII aviation movies, even though they are usually filled with cliches. This one is not, and it holds your interest throughout.
