ALONG WITH GHOSTS begins as a young girl named Miyo happens upon a document that incriminates local crime boss Kanzo. When Kanzo discovers that she has this document, he sends his thugs after her. Unfortunately, these henchmen end up murdering Miyo's grandfather on sacred ground, releasing the Yokai (Spirit Monsters). When Kanzo succeeds in kidnapping Miyo and using her for leverage against her long lost father, it is up to the Yokai to determine whether she will be reunited with her father or suffer at the hands of Kanzo.
