SWEET MEMORIES Excellent job on this DVD! The ending was beautiful with John singing "This old guitar" from the Sydney Opera house in Australia. I had a lot of emotions going on during this DVD. I truly miss hearing John sing live. Ron Grainger Submitted by RGRAINGE (CARROLL, OHIO) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo 1 of 2 found this helpful.
John Denver - A Song's Best Friend This is a fantastic DVD. It's the best video I've seen on John's life so far. It's by people who really knew or worked with him all through his career. I would recommend it for everybody who loves and admires him. Submitted by suzyw (Camden Point, Mo. USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
Great music, great stories Wonderful concert and tv special footage and interviews with several of John Denver's colleagues throughout his career make this DVD a must-have. (And no PBS begging to interrupt, either!!)
My only quibble: it's too short! Submitted by pageofcups (San Diego, CA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
Must Have For "Denver Fans"!!! I've seen many documentaries on John and not one of them come close to being as sensational as this.
It really captures the art and soul of John and his music.
