Don't get me wrong, I love Weird Al and all of his songs (my favorites are white and nerdy and amish paradise) but this CD didn't have the type of songs I was hoping for. I only really bought this CD for White and Nerdy, Trapped in the Drive Thru, and Do I Creep you out. I hope my review was helpful.

I've heard a few weird al songs and seen a few of his videos but this is the first cd I bought by him and it was just awsome! Confessions Part 3 is one of the best, along with White and Nerdy. A great buy

This album features some songs that rank up there with Al's best. A couple seem don't quite live up. 4 stars for the music. What bufoon decided on the content of the dual-disc? I don't want animated cartoons! I want real videos. I'd chuck 'em all for white and nerdy. And why is the "high-res" stereo mix only in 16 bit 48k? No wonder this dual-disc format is failing along with SACD and DVD-A. I guess they think Weird Al fans don't appreciate high resolution audio. Yet they think we need a surround sound version. I sure don't need stupid cartoons.

Dare to Be Stupid begins with what is perhaps Weird Al Yankovic's best parody ever, the brilliant and cutting "Like a Surgeon." Turning the tacky Madonna hit inside out and upside down, Yankovic comes up with a hilarious satire of the medical profession. Although the implications were probably missed by the none too bright Madonna, and may not have even been intentional on the part of Yankovic, it was a rich idea to use his parody to ridicule a serious subject rather than just take another poke at junk food or game shows. The record's title track follows, and it is the best of Yankovic's original songs that had been recorded so far. Any song that begins with a request to put down your chain saw can't be all bad.
