Four gorgeous women are invited to a remote island to participate in a fighting tournament. Director: Corey Yuen. Actors: Jaime Pressly, Holly Valance, and Devon Aoki.

Based on a popular series of video games, DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE is set on an exotic island where a group of extraordinary men and women face off against each other in a single-elimination fighting competition for a $10 million winner-take-all prize. The film focuses on three main competitors: Tina Armstrong (Jaime Pressly), a professional wrestler who wants to prove to herself, and the world, that she's not a fake; Princess Kasumi (Devon Aoki), who has gone against the laws of her kingdom by escaping on her own in order to search for her missing brother (Collin Chou), a former DOA participant; and Christie (Holly Valance), who, along with the mysterious Max (Matthew Marsden), is more interested in the $100 million locked away in a hidden vault than in the fighting prize. But the winner is going to have to get past some of the toughest men in the world, including Tina's father (real-life professional wrestler Kevin Nash) and island favorite Bayman (real-life six-time World's Strongest Man champion Derek Boyer). Meanwhile, behind the scenes, geeky nerd Weatherby (Steve Howey) is rooting for Helena (Sarah Carter), whose late father started the event, which is now in the hands of the questionably motivated Donovan (Eric Roberts). DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE was helmed by longtime Hong Kong actor, director, writer, and action director Corey Yuen (THE TRANSPORTER, KISS OF THE DRAGON) and features music by Junkie XL.

This movie is full of action and fun. It is non stop action from the beginning to end. Of course Eric Roberts makes this movie wonderful. This is a must see!!!

4 stars I enjoyed this
sure this film won't win any academy awards but it's not supposed to just enjoy this film for what it is and quite being so critical. I loved this film. alot of the martial arts sequences were very well done.
