| Dead End Dream CD (2002)
Young, loud, and snotty, the Riffs merge that Dead Boys American old-school punk cockiness with the even older original Cockney-ness of English punk (even intentionally aping the Sex Pistols' "No Future" guitar riff at the conclusion of "Down The Street") for a shade over a half-hour of pogo-inducing retro-enjoyment. For a dead horse, it gallops quite nicely, and best yet, you can tell Portland pop-punk posse doesn't care if you disagree. ~ Brian O'Neill
The Riffs: Tony (vocals); Amphetamine Blue, Dog's Body (guitar); Saigon Shakes (bass); Carl (drums).

| Underground Kicks CD (2002)
Amphetamine Blue music CDs. The Riffs play a punk rock style similar to the classic late-'70s British punks, but with a distinct American slant. This is their first real album for Pelado Records, but most of the material is drawn from years of touring the country before recording this. ~ Bradley Torreano
Recording information: Smegma studios (01/2000).
The Riffs: Amphetamine Blue, Tony Mengis, Toni Transmission, Dogsbody, Saigon Shakers.
Personnel: Defiance (background vocals).
