The music is simple but brilliant punk rock. When Los Gusanos broke up, CJ Ramone (real name Ward) had pretty much given up on doing a band and had resigned himself to family life. It's been said they're a little more Stooges-ey, but it's really hard to describe, except to say that it's superb punk rock. The inevitable Ramones similarities are present, but it's not derivative at all. This resulted in the formation of the Warm Jets (name later changed to Bad Chopper). That is until a chance meeting with Mark from Out Cold where they talked about starting a project.
